Any nurse, paramedic, doctor, electrician, or engineer, could point out that the monitor is not selective, and therefore will pick up electrical signals in addition to the frequencies generated on the surface of the skin emanating from the heart.
It is always good to have something to compare and contrast with when trying to evaluate the difference between science and pseudo-science. Good to have a frame of reference for that sort of thing.
What recommendations did the Trent Ethics committee have for your study design upon submission?
Anyway, I heard if you wear a tinfoil hat you can protect yourself from the dangerous frequencies, AND keep the voices at bay.
I'd also like to see the full range of data. That is, did the subject's heart rate increase *every* time the DECT phone was active, and was it normal *every* time the DECT phone was not active? Or is this just a selective sample of data where the correlation exists, and is any data where correlation does not exist excluded (i.e., when the DECT phone was active and subject's heart rate did not increase)?
I want to see more details on the methodology of this study, particularly (1) whether this was truly double blind and no information was communicated between the subjects and the experimenters that might tip the subjects off as to when the DECT phone was active and (2) whether there was a control group of people who claimed to suffer no EHS.
Thank you Dr. Havas and your partners for their work. It is very progressive and points out simple science. Humans are really like a coaxial cable without the insulation and are a 7.8 Hz frequency electrical system. If you impose 2.4 GHz or 2.4 billion Hz on 7.8 Hz system, there will be problems for the 7.8 Hz system.
You can't have the interaction of different frequencies, there will be electrical changes. Plug in the internet, no wireless.
More accurate statement of the the finding of this study is " Subjects having knowledge of a change being made, exhibited symptoms..."
I would like to see the test repeated with the subjects having absolutely no knowledge of the change. With the heart rate measuring instrument, is should be unnecessary for the subject to know when a change is being made.
Concern over the credibility of this report is the inaccuracy in frequency that DECT operates at. The report incorrectly lists DECT at 2.4 GHz. DECT, a wireless standard, operates at a lower frequency of ~1900 MHz . Google DECT to confirm this.
What other inaccuracy is in this report. Listing DECT at 2400 MHz incorrectly suggests that WiFi (that does operate at 2400 MHz) may also be responsible for these symptoms.
google SANDAURA VIDEOS. We are being stonewalled by the utility and the state of Massachusetts. We have a smart meter that pulses like a dect phone. We have requested they remove it from our home. National Grid refuses to do so. We have removed all dect (cordless phons) from our home. We now have returned to land lines. We must make this committment for ourselves and for our children and for our wildlife. The phone companies want to do completely away with land lines. We can not allow this.
Very true johanna006. When I became hypersensitive to electrical fields, my primary care physician prescribed -- excercise. But I found an immense body of knowledge and info on electrical pollution and healing related maladies. I am ever grateful that any info at all was shared. Knowledge is the key to change, and wow, is change ever needed.
Discerning people will heed this study; people wanting "business as usual" will fault it. To acknowledge a problem is to seek change. Many people do not want change when their automatic gratifications & economic status are at stake. "See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. Are we monkeys still? Do we want to continue evolving? We should all be pioneers in change! Thank you, Drs. Havas & Marrongelle for your work & courage in studying the greatest issue of our time, electropollution.
Congratulations... you either have a Nobel Prize in medicine waiting for you, or outright humiliation.
The immediate problems I see here are:
1) The subject being aware of when a switch takes place. From the setup. it seems the subject is aware of when someone replugs the phone. It I would also guess that the subjects were completely aware of the protocol. This means that the test is not double blinded.
@mkarnerfors Your "number 1" premise is incorrect. Even though the subject is aware of when someone replugs the phone, he nor the doctor knows which plug is a "dummy" plug, that is, he does not know which plug generates electricity and which plug does not. Re-watch the video clip.
@gfitz1999 It doesn't matter that they don't know the correct one. The mere knowledge of the change and *believeing* that it is currently active is enough to trigger the stress.
All throughout every other provocation study that has been made, the conclusion is the same: symptoms come consistently when the subject *believes* they are exposed to a field.
Since the subjects in this study apparently have knowledge of the protocol and the switches, that is a huge confounding factor.
@mkarnerfors You say, " The mere knowledge of the change and *believeing* that it is currently active is enough to trigger the stress. " This may be true in some scenarios, but its obviously not true for the subjects that showed consistent results of heart rate rising when a non-dummy plug is used verses a dummy plug.
I'm sorry was that gas PEDDLE? Hahahaha :)

Subjects B (at 03:33) and C (at 04:04) could claim the $1 million prize at Randi.
(Google for randi one million dollar challenge.)
So, please put them into contact with Randi, Dr. Havas.

Ok, a good proof but... the laptop u where using to monitoring the hart rates, is the wifi of it disabled??. if not the results are less realistic.
kamato8 1 year ago
Ok, thats prety good proof but because it is qute sensitiv subject, we cant reject posibility of falsification.
so is there more scientists who tested it and got same resultas, or at least someone interested in confirming its results.

Interesting. But if this is not generally accepted, it won't do any good to go to the cardiologist. He'd just send me to the psychiatrist.

Why was the DECT standard introduced if it causes such prominent cardio-vascular effects in healthy people?
Bernd1964 1 year ago
Probably because the error lies in this test rather than the DECT phones.

People need to watch this. I myself felt fatigued before I put some Stetzer filters in my house and removed the Dect phones!
