  • I was at Venaria Reale when this had just opened a couple of years ago. Thanks for posting! I really like the palaces in Turin, especially this one, you really feel like a 17th century courtier will all of the music and screens everywhere.

    but still, i don't think he was saying necessarily that ridley scott's vision is totally historically accurate, he's just making the point that now in this century the majority of the people that see gladiator are going to take it as how rome really was, even if it's total bull. he's saying the filmmakers have a lot of power and responsibility. i suppose scott abused that.
