DiachiLaser, I'm working for a venue in Louisiana, USA and we're looking for some lasers to add to our show. I've been looking all around and can't find anything even remotely as close to what we want as the ones from this video. Could you please let me know the make and model of the ones used and where to find them? If you don't know these exact ones, do you know a website where I could find ones of equal caliper? Thank you so much!
@mattopia1: Yeah it is, after some precise measurements and safety checks it is allowed. Many just don't attempt it due to the dangers if there are any mistakes in calculations. It's left to the pros.
Anyway, you can scan the crowd so long as you use more diffused frames and calculate the power that any one person could recieve to their retina from each frame. You can also use special laser show safety hardware and software that changes the show slightly for when it's in the crowd.
If you're an ameture then that's the rule, otherwise, it doesn't apply so strictly.
HI was that show in Germany? Well i know Saeco is very popular Espresso machine in Germany. I own 2 of those laser projectors got those from my friend he baught new ones! but i cant get the DMX channels to work properly
Im looking to buy a laser online. What mW would u recomend for a crappy laser. And how far would a 25mW+25mW@532nm, 80mW+80mW@650nm, Double Green and Double Red DPSS laser project to?
There are far too many variables to accurately calculate how far that would project, such as air conditions, scan angle, divergence, ambient lighting etc.
Also, the red laser won't be DPSS , it will be a diode system ( red DPSS at 80mW would cost around $700 AU ) , however the green will be DPSS. If you have a smoke machine it'll be good for some indoor beam shows and graphics in a small room, maybe 10*10M in size.
they used a water screen and a large video projector ( Rear projection ) with the output reversed so that the image would appear the correct way round on the screen.
The projector DID go past the water screen, since it only stops some of the image so that it can be displayed. The image that went past would have been distorted.
This reminds me of star wars

Great lasers! The music used in this video is Vangelis - "Titans" from the Alexander movie.

Sweet. Crowd scanning isn't allowed here in the US of A unfortunately.

Brilliant laser shows there mate. Did you create your laser show from scratch building individual frames?

Oops, never meant to click spam, sorry.

Rule number one of laser shows: DONT scan the crowd! Wow, you must be in europe!

I got a hookup splitter in my DIsco for it i have some other asers with dmx in my disco but they all 240V
XxMEVANSxX 2 years ago
You can run them off of a 120-240V step up transformer! :D

Hello. I don't know where the show actually was, just that it was a Slovakian company who did it.
The lasers used here are several WATTS in output power each and cost 5,000-15,000 Euros a piece and can be computer controlled.
Do you know if your projectors have ILDA in for computer control ?

really GREAT ! 5 stars !
in the sky direction with 100 lasers 1 W very close how many meters can we could reach ?
thx
WATCH THE SKY !
SKYSURVEYOR 2 years ago
Depends on the divergence of the lasers, height of clouds, density/humidity of the air, weather conditions etc.
You also need to get an approval from whoever takes charge of aviation in your area, as it's dangerous to shine that much laser into the sky.
DiachiLaser 2 years ago
thank you for the informations.
no clouds of course and desert area.
good conditions. So ? wich distance ? 100x1w: green lasers. no red.
SKYSURVEYOR 2 years ago
There are too many variables to calculate exact distance. Technicaly the beam will go forever ( In a vacuum ) until something stops it.
If you can afford 100 x 1 W green lasers, you must be rich ! thats around $100,000$500,000

IT 's OK BUT IN FACT IS IT POSSIBLE TO COORDONATING 1.000 LASERS GREEN BLUE RED DURING 8 HOURS ?
WICH SOFTWARE IS ABLE TO DO THIS ?

how the hell did they do the butterfly's ?

Oh i thought it was the lasers also
wvin2008 2 years ago
Nope, so did I at first, but it would have to be some pretty fast scanners to do that. Would be a nice raster scan .

So the projector did not go past the water screen ? And there must of been alot of fog. was this in person ?

No, wasn't in person.
