  • see... that´s what I don´t understand. If Gulda plays Mozart with a lot of pedal it´s revolutionary. If I play it with pedal I am bitten by my teacher...

If Horowitz plays the wrong notes its manerism, If I play the notes wrong I am doing crap...

    :-/////

  • This is played so gorgeously

  • 5:00 someone practicing in the background ??? :D

  • Nice can hear Mozart... but the piano seems a little detuned.. or the recording..

  • @resultant64

the piano is a little out of tune, magnificent Bösendorfer tone though...

  • @gainweighttoday I think its exactly because this it sounds that beautiful... this piano have an amazing tone...

  • Siempre es interesante escuchar a Gulda. Mozart es de su preferencia. Tiene una forma muy subjetiva de interpretar a este artista, a la vez que impresiona profundamente su estilo. Mozart llega de una manera distinta.

  • Gulda sempre fanastico

  • Interprétation impeccable comme toujours avec Gulda

  • Love him. He is so funny! And can really play too.

    ( :

But I think he's no longer with us. Playing this from heaven...

  • Die beste Interpretation. Danke.

  • Schon viele Interpretation der Sonate gehört. Dies ist die beste. Danke fürs Video.

  • His true colours come out during the second movement...

  • @potvi19

I have to agree on that one-his interpretation of the second movement is interesting

it is not conventional but it is original and attractive

I do not know Gulda that good-if these are his true colors where did he loose them?

I mean ,not all of recordings here posses this quality

  • Too many pedal - otherwise excellent

  • what a gaudy watch jeez

  • @scout6686 What an idiotic comment Jeez.!

  • @ThePainter62 whatever old man bet i'm a better pianist then you'll ever be.

  • @scout6686 stop being such a douche bag

  • Probably the closest we will ever get to listening to the composer himself. Superb.!

  • what's with the mental whacko hats?

  • Gulda is the coolest pianist ever. Love his glasses and his style is really fancy. And his music is sublime...

  • he makes it sound almost like a harpsichord... that's taking no risk considering the interpretation... fair enough, the result is very good

  • awesome !! !^^

  • D+ grade for his mozart

  • @freeqwerqwer

    Z - for you judgement .

  • puirist is just pure

  • he's wearing a watch!!

you dont see that very often :P

  • questa esecuzione mi ha tenuto compagnia per il mio periodo di studi praghesi a fine anni 70, Il mio giudizio è perciò parziale, tuttavia non vedo cosa ci sia di criticabile!

  • Que maestria...

  • Thank you, you let me feel Mozart

  • This is not a highly refined Mozart. It's fairly straight-forward and cookie cutter.

  • By all means lets see you post a video of yourself doing better then this man here.

    Because if you can't.

Need to sit down and shut your ass up.

  • .... Evgeny Kissin dove lo metti.....

  • I have Gulda's recording of Mozart Concertos No.20, No.21. It's one of the best recordings of those concertos.

  • Indeed !!!

    is the recording with No.20, 21,25, and 27 ?

I consider that as one of the best Mozart concerto recordings

  • faltan horowitz volodos y hamelin

  • @mevoiii y faltan richter y kempff, y seguro muchos mas

  • A clean, straightforward interpretation of Mozart's sonata. Undeniably beautiful, yet nothing really special. I expected an extra something from Gulda.

  • @dinastein44 you are right...if you want to see and listen to the perfection please watch to "Friedrich Gulda in Mozart for the people"

  • fue Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli

  • el maestro de martha argerich????

  • @juliansarde sì quando lei era molto giovane..lui registrava le sue esecuzione e poi le criticavano insieme come lei ha raccontato in un'intervista
