The more real sound and expression between acoustic instruments and musician interact but don't come with any real instruments patchs and are no findable, is just another powerful modeling synth, realistic my arse.
no, its worse; what do you think? Course' it's better, otherwise what's the point of stopping producing the original v-synth, and putting this one out?
sorry fellas but hands down roland makes the best product......korg ya its cool for dance music and tha motif......awsome synth and groove box but roland makes music life like!
These are really made in japan? I thought most of Roland's recent equipement is made in China. I do not want to pay 3K dollars for a poorly assembled instrument/machine. My XP80 is a bit outdated on some stuff, but it still holds up well. The thing has a metal shell housing and really is made in Japan, but it's 13 years old, so I don't even know if Roland still makes anything in Japan. Any idea where the current Fantom X and G series are made? I know the SH model is made in China.
iv got one. its absolutely amazing. but agreed : buttons like CRAZY, if you don't like messing with and finetuning sounds this would be a terrible keyboard for you. but i love fidling with stuff. I got it a year ago and im still learning things about it.
As impressive as the V-Synth is, it really isn't until he gets to about the Ehru that you start to get a feel for that. But I still felt like there is so much more sound morphing, sclupting and warping the instrument can do than what was shown here. Way more.
Bam! true leave that real sax to real sax players, synths are more for warped out crazy shit! Drumm n Bass house techno0o0o0o. and sound warping is what the v-synth is actually made for.

I didn't impress by these v-synth possibilites and did not like these plastic and not natural pseudo- sax and violin.

This guy is a horrible salesman. He's so nervous. I would not buy a synth from him.

@TheRepublicOfJohn Nervous? More like overexcited. Since when does a salesman come into it anyway, you always do your own research and then buy?

In some ways it is... but in others not. For example, all its rhythm kits have been taken away in the Gt version...

Which is better to use in a band? V-synth or Fantom?
Karsh34 3 years ago
Depends on the music genre. Most probably a Fantom X-8.

That saprano sax really doesn't do it for me on the Vsynth. Seems a bit off.

there's not enough sax and violins in keyboards anymore..
rg2027x 4 years ago 4
And there really shouldn't be. If you want a sax or a violin, then just buy the real thing lol. =)
