I became a fan well after he died. My dad turned me on to his music with stuff like 'old violin'. I loved it! Then I started looking into his whole career. I was surprised because I liked his old stuff, when he was all clean shaven and younger, and the stuff after that when he was looking all gruff with the beard. I love his whole career n am sad music like this is kind of disappearing :(
Yeah man - LATE Little Darlin' label time frame. Moustache & longish hair startin'...but I'll guarantee he was mainly drinkin' - Hal Rugg on steel - great! Love that he's playin' a 12-string on this clip!
