Ok, these is an amazing case. If u are having the air bubble with the rainbow effect, simply take the back part of the case off and make sure the iphone is firmly pushed into the front of the case. I had this same problem iuntil now.
One of the commenters helped me fix my rainbow effect (newton rings) problem with my gen2 black case. Even after getting a replacement and meticulously cleaning the screen and using compressed air, the new cover developed Newton Rings within a couple of days. His trick of blowing gently into the earpiece holes must create positive pressure which recreates the air pillow and separates the protector from the screen. The Goretex like material covering the holes prevents moisture from your breath f
Come on guys, give the guy a break. LOL - Ok so we all know that air doesn't "evaporate", but we still knew what he meant. No biggie, right? At any rate, this little trick does actually work and gets a good amount of that "pillow effect" flattened on the screen from the excess trapped air. At any rate, mp18red, thank you for posting the video :)
@vwill1000 to get rid of the rainbow effect, take off the case remove the phone, Take a bottle of baby power, with the cap CLOSED, shake the baby power, place the bottle of baby power on the table, take the top half of your life proof case and hold it above the bottle so that the inside of the lifeproof case is above the bottle. Open the baby power bottle and squeeze the bottle. A puff of fine baby power will coat the inside of the screen. This will eliminiate oil slicks permanently.
Instructions for using this case are long and complicated...This is not a case you want to use every so often...Once you go through the hassle of getting the case on you will not want to take it off...EVER...If you want to return this case get ready to pay for shipping both ways plus a 15% restocking charge...Worse yet, their customer service is nonexistent...I have been attempting to get a Return Authorization Number for days without success...HOLD should be the name of their customer service
@jorgemir27 I'm planning on purchasing this case but have read that others too have issues with a bad echo from using the case. Any luck in fixing this? Do you recommend the case?
@cdecast82 it did fix the echo, what i would do is dont buy it online, they sell them at best buy that way if it does not work then you can get your full money back and not halfto pay 15% restocking fee if you decide to buy and return it online
the air bubble also goes away by its self- if your actually using it in the water and not just buying this case as a way of showing people that you have the money to burn.
@mp18red so are those "holes" made with something like a one way valve? I just assume that if you can suck out air, water would get in? also how's the sound quality on call and speaker, camera since it's covered up?
@ExquiziteSTORM Wow you're an idiot lol. That is an iPhone CASE, not just the iPhone. All you see of the iPhone screen inside a white lifeproof case...
@ExquiziteSTORM It is not fake. That white part you see between the screen and the edge is a part of the case, dear. If you go to the website you will see for yourself. Mine is pink. The only part of the iPhone you see is the screen (not the white part). I don't know how else to explain it to you. You need to go to the website or see another review of how the case looks without a phone in it so you can see that white part is the case.

Or you can press it against your chest like lifeproof suggests. But still a viable way to get the air out too, good job.

It goes away after a few weeks or you can unscrew the headphone jack thing and push the air up and it goes out.
