I've never been in America and I don't want to. I held a presentation about her in my english lesson. What about the arrivals at Elley's Island in the 19th century? Isn't it ironical that at liberty Island so many people were rejected? The statue of liberty unfortunatly just stands for me as a symbol for opression and a curtain for liberty in modern times.

Don't understand me wrong I'm a great adherer to the western values of democracy, liberty, division of powers.
