Question: Why didnt you try going with a Crit heavy weapon? wouldnt it have died faster? I see a lot of people ignoring the fact that you can get Daggers Crit rating to 53%, N Ive never understood why. (but then ive never asked ether XD )

@KNDReaper I find it most likely is that most players are unaware of crit sets or even the use of crit gear. Hell, I find most of them aren't even aware of the best damage equipment that's out in their time.

FH is better with Short sword or Daggers.

Gladius isn't much better then Short-swords when you put in the damage per round of hits.

And Short Sword's are waaaay cheaper to replace.

And, with upgrades. Short swords trump Gladius, having better balance and 2 more hits with dual-wield.

@MicroLight15 Fluted short swords are good, but the weapon preference for final hit depends on what your looking for. Wound, Critical, Speed, those are all things that have to be looked into.

dont argue, for me i like dual weilding broadswords, they are like a cross between a dagger and a gladius but they have slightly more power than speed, use a short/longsword for slightly more speed and less power if you like speed!

Final hit is not only good with daggers. I use two stiff gladius and my final hit is rank 6(ready for 5). I wonder if most of you know...if you fh with daggers and it ends without the enemy being dead, they can strike back right away. If you final hit with normal sword weapons dual wielding then you can continue slashing afterward with normal hits. Oh and in my opinion, final hit with gladius is much more appealing than daggers.

You strike faster with daggers but it can't just equal the same amount of damage. That would depend on your stats and skill ranks. Also, it would mean something if you have upgraded weapons or not. Annnd if you're using final hit with daggers and it runs out and what you were fighting didn't die, it gets to attack you straight away. If you use something like Gladius or something you can continue attacking with your normal attacks and knock it back.

Last time I checked, Final hit doesn't need the use of some "Proper AI" as you put it(Especially since the only way to use an A.I. in the game is to use your pet, unless you meant "KNOW" the proper A.I.),because  the skill makes you attack infinitely for a while.

Its Final hit, you can continually hit something with out return fire, for a time limit.
