i just thought of doing this swap in my 07 focus sedan. have you been able to drive the car since you got it running? if so how much faster did it get after doing this swap?
@josh38127 i used the contour mounts but with custom welded adapters for the driver and passenger side. the lower TQ mount in a Focus piece with a welded adapter so it bolts to the Contour engine.
yes the hood will clear it. if not i'm screwed and i'll have to change the mounts up. but i've test fit the hood so it shouldn't be an issue.
i have a Focus 1.6. You give me a idea...

@mirasbelows the car is actually for sale right now if you want all the little things i've had to piece together to make it work.
that was actually a mistimed engine it has had a new engine put in since then.

What engine mounts did you use?Will the hood clear it?
