I much prefer it played at this tempo. It has some emotion in it this way and while the fast tempo demonstrates the players ability it does nothing for the mood.
@sherwinjtb Thanks for the comment. I was actually thinking of doing some developing with another instrument. And I thought about learning the clarinet- until I saw one up close, and noticed all the buttons and valves and holes and hinges. It looks very complicated. Somehow I expected the clarinet to be on a par with recorder in the area of difficulty. Then there was the key problem. The clarinet I saw was in b flat. Same as yours, so I'll stick to the guitar.
@GlennValt Hi Glenn. Thanks. Yes, I like this upload too. Not the fastest version on Youtube, but speed isn't everything. I'd rather sacrifice a bit of speed for some extra emphasis every time. Hope to see some more uploads from you soon. Steve.
bass and melody notes are clear and consistent!. Timing seems mostly right. A little bit hesitant at times which slow you down. Well done on the whole.
Thanks for the comment, Paul. I still have trouble with a feel for the bass, i suspect because of the minor key, despite often practising the bass separately. I hope to upload Bach's minuet in G soon. Thanks also for the sub. I've seen some of your music. I'm impressed. Cheers, Steve.

@Bflatest Yes. I think there are some dynamics which are missed with a faster tempo.

Good job Steve.
Bach is v difficult, I find.
I cheated and listened to Alirio Diaz a million times on this piece.
I am still not fit to lace his boots!!

Paul
