  • I had to turn up my volume REALLY loud to hear the DIY e drum

  • is the diy head as responsive as the roland?

ive got a pd85 and its pretty damn responsive. (like, velocity variety response i mean)

i was considering selling it and getting a pd105, but i might just make a one of those diy ones and keep the cash ;D or is i only really an option if your short of cash and need a drum NOW..?

  • i got a portible drum kit from gamestop for like $30 i might make a vid for it, even though one of the sticks i got was shit and snapped the first day, but i had an extra so its all good.

the pads do slide so i taped them to my regular rock band kit, which has had some recent malfunctions, and play off of that. all i need is a good splitter, any kind that works, and then i'll be rockin. the portable kit has sticks with better rebound action and the pads are quiter than the silencers

  • hows the rebound on the fiberglass screen compared to the roland mesh head?

  • What is that wonderful DIY material you used? Is it durable and comparable in feel to the Rolands?

  • I used 2 layers of Fiberglass screen and a top layer of superscreen. I'm not sure how long it will last. I have been using the superscreen for 4 months now and still looks like new. Feels just as good as a Roland mesh head.

  • @mikejl47

can u try using the same material trampolines use?

    or is it too strong

  • rock band pads are a joke. Long live DIY eDrums!
