  • I love this song! I noticed, in both English and Russian, that as a whole, Vremya Luny/Time of the Moon is VERY hard to sing. Even though I used to be an alto, I'm so used to being a soprano now that I lost my deep voice. And I'm not good at singing Yulia's style; I can only do Lena's part! If I did a fandub, that is.

  • Lena sings the higher part... right?

  • love it!!!

  • i still like her voice she sounds better this way

  • i love yulias voice she is my favorite!

  • Ha, this is so weird! I bought the Russian version, "Happy Smiles" on iTunes a year ago, and the feel of the english CD is completely different; much more somber, but perhaps that was just my interpretation of the music. It makes sense, though. Russia has been in a deep depression since the 90s.

  • @pearlsandjade: What do you mean by 'somber'?

  • omg what happened to julia? she used to be so powerful, strong, energic... now she seems burned out =(

  • She had a problem with her vocal chords back in 2004 and had to go under surgery. They removed a vocal cyst that was growing in between her chords by cutting it off, so now they are a bit ruined. That's why she sounds husky now.

  • @sexyhotpeppe 2003, i think it was before eurovision she had her voice cyst.

  • Yulia sounds fine with a husky voice, though. :D

  • awesome song!

  • i love it too
