This poetry is about the love ishq of God.Good for the youth to understand the teachings of God. whereas they are being misguided by the molas and scholars of islam.
Brother if u dont like their way of representing the poetry then dont listen but it is really encouriging for those who like rock music and could'nt find the poetry interesting cuz when they listen it in a way they like they com to know what the poetry is all about.....

No other nation even comes close to Pakistan in terms of Musical Talents.
This is not a thing of geographical presence but music is a heavily rooted Muslim quality. It has been from the time of the Rajpoots. Hence why Muslims produce the best singers, composers in asia and possibly the best vocalists in the world!
Junooon SUXX big time..I always Adored Junoon for Sayonee... but now Making fun of such a great poetry really disappoints me..Do they even trying to concentrate on the depth of the meaning.. this is such a wrong message dancing and Screaming loudly with no respect to such a great Poetry.they could sing the same song peacefully with respect.
@skhan4u This came out right after Sayonee, first time in a concert in India when they had been banned by Nawaz Sharif Govt, for any public performances in Pakistan, after their song Ehtesab.
In its context, it was the perfect song. Because it took the Message of Iqbal to the masses of india.
dont you think this is a good way to get people into poetry??? i has done for me! i first thought poetry was for people who had lost it abit or who where tooo lovey dovey but its not!
@engrwaqarmarwat I just checked. Mohammad Iqbal or Allama Iqbal died in 1938, but he's the same guy who wrote 'Saare jahan se accha Hindustan hamaara' in 1904 as a India loving secular humanist and later turned against secularism and wrote 'Chin-o-Arab hamaara, Hindustan bhi hamaara, Muslim hai hum...' in 1910 as a fundamentalist and also supported the demand for breaking India. You can confirm this thru google. 'Saare Jaha se...' is still a compulsory recitation at Indian schools!
@engrwaqarmarwat no he is right, iqbal wrote sare jahan se acha and he also wrote this poem, sanged by junoon, yes he never stayed in Pakistan as he died befor Pakistan got independent.he is the national poet of Pakistan and his children and grandchildrens lives in Pakistan.
jitna bera gharaq junoon ne kia hai"khudi" ka utna kisi ne nahin kia....guys plz notice ke Ali Azmat ko her song mein current lag jata hai aur wo gana kam ....shock mein ziayada nachta hai...jaisey pagal ho gaya ho...btw...Shehzad Roy ne bhi Allama ki poetry ko song mein kaha hai..he sung respecfully....
Allama Iqbal is a universal poet. His poetry is for everybody. Lata Mangeshkar has also sung Iqbal. Kabhi aye haqiqat-e-muntazir nazar a libas-e-majaz men ke hazaron sajday tarap rahay meri ek jabin-o-niaz men. If this poetry is on video and somebody has it, would he like to post it on Utube. It will be a great service to fine art and urdu literature.
great man.....................!

@seasonedsevencolors I think you are confusing someone with Iqbal , h never wrote 'Saare jahan se acha Hindustan hamaara',
Iqbal never stayed in Pakistan , Infact he died in 1937 , Pakistan was created in 1947.
:)
