  • clean hitter!

  • The father of all modern cricketers... father of Afridi or any other hardest hitting batsmen like sehwag, sachin, ponting, anwar, inzamam.. everyone.. Only Gilchrist can be compared to Sir Viv Richards I guess. I am from Pakistan btw

  • No helmet, no fear and whack. Ball on the off side, front foot forward, whack to the leg side. Not sachin, not inzamam, not ponting, not KP not anyone. VIV is king viv. Salutations from an Indian

  • /watch?v=tzyB8x0hcPQ

  • Superb graphics

  • Viv Richarges is one of the fav batsman of Sachin Tendulkar and Richards rates SACHIN TENDULKAR as greatest batsman after Sir Don Bradman.

  • OH YES!!!!!! PROUD TO BE AN ANTIGUAN.......

  • @MrMk4life Ha ha, Viv nearly took Hendrick's head clean off at 2:20 !

  • Without a doubt the most majestic dominating batsman in my lifetime. Ooh what he did to England in the hot summer of 76!

  • to all the kids who play t20 and call themselves fearless strikers of the cricket ball. Better watch this great man's batting and learn how to attack... purely a LEGEND..

    with love from India

  • Definitely one of the greatest of all times.. To face pace bowlers without helmet on and still hook them for six like they mean nothing, it took players like him.

  • no doubt he was a great batsman,i am his big time fan....Haris USA.

  • @ezeeedarling, amazing! I also like Viv and GNR - we have exact same choice!!!

  • Sachin was never so devastating but earlier in his career he was much more aggressive. But I do not remember him hitting Donald, Mcgrath or Akram mercilessly in South Africa, Australia or Pakistan but he has scored against all of them and in all conditions. Ideally its not correct to compare them, Sachin cannot be everything...Viv was most aggressive but no one has been as consistent as Sachin and he is a bigger icon than any in cricket.

Who does VIv rate as the best? Its Gavaskar!!

  • I was lucky to be 9 or 10 when Richards played some of his gems and I followed Tendulkar since the beginning. My father and elder brother were huge fans of Viv. One thing is for sure, he was the most menacing against fast bowlers and in fast pitches he made sure he hit them all over the ground. Just imagine during those days his strike rate used to be 90+!!

  • when current professionals talk about viv richards, they themselves sound like fanboys, that says something about the viv, what a legend.

  • to all you clowns comparing richards and tendulkar give me a fucking break theres about 10 shots in this video that ive never seen tendulkar even attempt richards is head shoulders and a entire body better than sachin yes tendulkar is better techinical no argument there but no way could tendulkar take attacks to pieces like viv the only player in the last 20 years that strikes fear and scares bowlers and destroys attacks on any wicket is gilchrist and you could make a case for sehwag

  • @willandshaylin2008 You may be right. but think of heights. tell me its easy for a shorter player or taller player to hook?

  • i think when he is compared to bradman its hard to compare them because bradman it seems to me tooks less risks and was more calculating didnt hit a lot of aerial shots and was more patient waited for the bowler to make a mistake where as viv attacked the bowlers went after them sometimes treated some great bowlers bothan imran khan lillie with contempt clearly in the top 3 players batsmen ever bradman and sobers being the other 2

  • Viv is the Brocky of cricket !!!!

  • Why didn't he wear helmet to fast bowlers?

  • @Mirpuria They hadn't been invented, and when they were he trusted his own ability,oh and are we serious?Viv Richards in a helmet,I don't think so

  • Amazing how he didn't wear helmet when facing fast bowlers.

  • @Mirpuria he didnt need to!

  • Surely much much greater than some over rated so called 'god of cricket' batsmen. lol

  • He showed ZERO respect for bowlers.

  • @thatguyyouknow2 no he respected bowlers. But he was too good to destroy them

  • Sir Viv...he was one cool motherfucker.

  • Arrogant and dismissive. A warrior to the core who wielded his sword as if there was no power on earth that could stand its might. More often than not, it was indeed the case. If ever there was a case of superiority complex being so mighty productive, his was one.

I.V.A. Richards had that swagger which I believe could only have been matched by Alexander the great, Ghenghis Khan or Napolean Bonaparte leading their armies to war!

  • holy cr@p he was good. not too shabby in the field either...

  • Fetch that!

  • I can remember Dennis Amis wearing a helmet in 1976 and I think they were worn even earlier. Richards said he didnt wear one because it was uncomfortable......

  • behold the king!!!!!

  • More presence and ability than any other cricketer.

    Legend doesn't even come close.

    I just wish he'd had a few off-days v England.

  • @mcs1hr For me Greatest Ever Batsman. 10 Sachin +10 Lara Can't make one Sir Viv Richards.

  • Why didn't the batsmen wear helmets back then.

  • @Mirpuria helmets wre not invented back then Helmets wre invented after rise of one day cricket

  • Viv Richards: The Lion king of cricket kingdom.

  • Cyrus the Great........

  • What's the name of this soundtrack?

  • @millions1022

Guns & roses sweet child of mine

  • @millions1022 guns and roses sweet child of mine

  • viv richard is simply one of the best cricketever ever

  • No point arguing whether Viv is great or SRT is great. SRT himself confesses that he thinks Viv is the greatest batsman ever lived. So discussion is closed.

  • i m a PAKISTANI

i love viv richards bayyong. he is a true legend of he game.......

  • He was alexender the great of circket HALE FROM PAKISTAN to a great player

  • im Aussie and i still say he was the best there,s ever been.Viv the great.

  • the best there was, the best there is, and the best there will ever be... THE KING SIR VIV RICHARDS!!

  • My favourite cricketers of all time are: Kanhai, Sobers, Kallicharran. However, , Richards, is the greatest batsman to ever play cricket. Bradman's numbers were extraordinray, indeed. But Bradman's career was limited. Limited to certain countries. And the era was vastly different, great for his era. I also rate Sobers and Headley as two of the greatest batsman who ever lived. Pollock was also great, but again, a limited career. Limited to Whites only. ..One man's thoughts..cheers

  • this guy is the greatest batsman by a mile. look at his runs under pressure to win matches batting 2nd. he had everything and would have made 20,000 test runs had he not been a team player. look at tendulkar and tell me how many matches hve his hundreds won matches. bradman got his runs against no mre than bradford league cricket bowlers with fielders with their hands in their pockets scratching the goolies..

  • Aye, magnificent player, but his average tells a story: impatient in defence. G. Chappell, a slightly lesser stroke player, with way less power, had a better all round game.

Bradman? Dodgy eyes, little man, but watch him: wrists, timing, CONCENTRATION.

  • There's onlu one word to describe this player. That word is "LEGEND"

  • he did it all as naturally as people inhale oxygen

  • The Last Great batsman not to go to the crease looking like the micheln man.....No helmet, No forearm guards...Just his pure ability & confidence to overcome any bowler.......Please take note any present day player......BE a MAN like KING VIV

  • @mcamarley .. Nobody can ever match this King

  • @mcamarley not wearing a helmet was normal for his time. wearing a helmet is normal in our time. helmets made a entry in early eighties for a reason- a barrage of fast bowlers. naturally a batsman of the caliber of viv choose not to wear helmets mid way of his career.

  • I don't know much about Sir Viv, but this vid makes him look very much like a leg-side player!! Just a couple to the off at the end and he made a lot of room for those! is this a good reflection??

  • if you see, alot of his leg side shots were taken from outside of off stump. Why play an off side shot away from the body when he was good enough to hit almost everything with full force on the leg side? That was one of his strengths, the ability to turn good balls into ones that he could crack to the onside.

His straight hitting was also fair good, seems to be a lack of it on this video unfortunately.

  • Great music. Great cricketer.

    Honorata4 great wanker

  • Amzing player - certainly the most destructive batsman I have ever seen.

Shame about the horrible and distracting music.

In this case, the pictures - and commentary - speak for themselves.

    Less is more, guys.

  • amazing batsmen i think you could argue that as amazing the stats bradman put up richards was not that far behind given the way he played amazing eye could hit anything in my view the only guy since richards retired that is comparable to him is gilchrist not based on runs or averages but just ability to demolish attacks on any wicket

  • good vid. ,shit house music choice,

  • most devastating batsman that ever played

  • I LOVE Botham's look when Viv hits him for six, priceless. Viv was such an amazing player. I remember my first ever cricket match, I was seven and my dad took me to see Australia vs West Indies. Awesome.

  • What I love about him is that he is so aggressive and attacking yet has a calm, relaxed and humble demeanour. He had such a fierce will to win and that is why he never lost a test as Captain of West Indies. I also always admired him for not wearing a helmet - That takes guts.

  • one of the best test batsman and the greatest one day batsman

  • VIV is the real KING of CRICKET

  • Comment removed

  • Viv was the daddy, the best stroke player ever. End of.

  • I am lucky enough to be old enough to remember this man, he is a class apart, a total legend

  • an utter legend. i was lucky enough to shake his hand once...

  • at 2:20 he seems like the right-handed ancestor of chris gayle

  • Chris Gayle is a very fine cricketer, whom I respect greatly, but he has a lot to learn from Sir Vivian Richards. In our lifetime a better batsman you will never see, and I am an Englishman, he is absolutely peerless

  • he is a good T20 player but still has to learn how to stay on the crease in Tests.

  • Hello Hammad I agree, he is a very good cricketer, but I guess you may be too young to have seen Sir Viv at his best, he was miles better than any batsman on show currently

  • summed up by another great, Ian Botham on a picture in one of Beefys books, The King & I underneath a photo of the two of them, nothing else to add to that is there!

  • He makes batting look so easy. One of the all time greats. Viva la Richards

  • Any young cricketers, any where in the world who love cricket, just watch this for a while, and aspire to bat as well as this Knight of the realm did and you will do very well, he gave me so much pleasure even as an England fan, class act in a class team

  • Oh your that skitzo faggot who doesn't let anyone comment on their gay little profile

  • Sssshhhhh! Don't want my wife and three kids to find out!

  • Comment removed

  • Oh bugger off, you silly little irrelevant and sexually frustrated young turd.

  • If you're looking at stats alone, then Bradman is far and away the greatest batsman. But for sheer ability to destroy bowling attacks, and play the most incredible shots - orthodox or unorthodox, then I can't see anyone matching King Viv.

  • Yes I completely agree with That, Bradman on stats is absolutely peerless. But I also agree that Sir Viv had the ability to go out and murder any attack, almost at will, which Sir Don did not because of the way cricket was played then. Total respect to all named.

  • What a fabulous cricketer, the like of which we may not see again in our lifetime, he is definately worthy of comparison to Bradman and Hobbs, a unique talent in a golden age of West Indian cricket. How on earth did Somerset not win everything with Sir Viv, Joel Garner, and Sir Ian Botham in the side

  • Absolutely Mike. As a Somerset lad growing up in the late 70's, seeing three all time greats in the same county side was a dream come true. Always remember Gillette final from 79 - magical moment for Somerset fans to celebrate first ever trophy. Didn't quite manage the country championship (STILL haven't!) but won a few more one day trophies in that golden era. Legends one and all!

  • yeah agreed viv was in a league of his own..................but DEFINITELY Tendulkar was better than Gilchrist hands down.......

  • What is pathetic is complete bonehead twats like yourself hijacking these comments. Whether you're talking about Richards, Tendulkar, Bradman or whoever, all of these people have achieved incredible things in their life, and for you to talk about Tendulkar like that is sad and immature. He commands respect, unlike non-achieving twats like you who hide behind the anonimity of the internet.

  • And you're (not your) a brainless, illiterate testicle who has the intense anger of someone who has received very little in the way of affection. People like you should be NOT seen and NOT heard. Sad pathetic person.

  • All shots are in leg side. he seems very strong in leg side.

  • Viv WAS very strong on the leg side, but what made him one of the very best ever, rather than "just a great" (there's a difference!) was that he could make his own off stump, or outside off stump, into a new leg side. It takes a special talent to do that even against Lillee, Thomson etc. Even worse to a bowler is that Viv also used his superb eye to step way outside leg and crash the ball through extra cover. The most complete batsman I ever saw, but KP is getting close!

  • @richardmiles21 kp is getting close..you evalued viv.

  • @harsh6367 Hello mate. I just realised that I wrote that two years ago. What has happened in the last two years? Well, KP has stalled (in fact, so has Sachin) and I'd now evaluate him as a "better than average" batsman, no better. For me King Viv is still The King.

  • @NCISLUVAxx yes in my books viv is one of the best ever. KP sadly is all style and modest substance.

  • No one can even get close to Sir Vivian Richards. To compare Sachin with him is an insult to the great Vivian Richards. The ease with which he smashed the greatest bowlers of that time was unreal.

  • u fucking stupid faggotic cunt u shud first learn to respect ppl who have achieved something in their lives. everyone has their choice like u've urs. so plz learn to respect ppl's choices too.

btw i agree with u no one cud come close to Richards based on this innings. i am saying based on this innings since i haven't seen him play and there are not many videos on the internet on Viv.

  • Elaborating on my previous comment & comparing the statistics for the two players..

    Richards:

Mat Inns NORuns HS Ave BF 100 50

    Tests121 182 12 8540 291 50.23 24 45

    ODIs 187 167 24 6721 189* 47.00 11 45

    Sachin:

Mat Inns NORuns HS Ave BF 100 50

    Tests159 261 27 12773 248* 54.58 42 53

    ODIs 425 415 39 16684 186* 44.37 43 91

  • Statistically, there is not much separating these2players.Sachin has better avg in tests,Viv has better avg in ODIs,both have similar str.rates.wat u shud also note is Viv played when WI dominated the era,Sachin played with a shitty, faggotic,& parasitic team and shitty, unreasonable fans with unreasonable expectations. Also, in this era of IT support staff, Sachin's batting was/is analysed more for any chinks than Viv's,but Viv played w/o protective gear.finally u can't compare players 4m dif. eras

  • Yes .... The fact that Viv played against 100 mph bowlers and 95 mph bowlers aplenty (Snow, Lillee, Thommo, Imran, Hadlee, Willis, Pascoe, Hogg etc), other superb fast bowlers (Botham, Kapil, a young Akram, Nawaz, Bakht, Hurst, Walker, Gilmour, Dilley, Chatfield etc), that he faced in addition in the WSC (Pollock, Procter, Van der Bijl, Le Roux, Prior, Malone) all count against him, though I am sure SRT was hurt by the fact that ALL his four 150+ ODI knocks have come against 'gr8' attacks ......

  • ...... 'gr8' attacks like NZ '99, Namibia, NZ '09 and Aus '09 without McGrath, Warne, Gillespie, Lee, Johnson, Tait. Viv averaged almost 50 with a sr of 90 enjoying the lack of any protective gear (even helmet) whilst SRT was burdened with a ton of that. Not to mention that those fast bowling monsters of the 70s and 80s probably had feelings of sympathy for a helmet-less Viv while SRT might have felt sorry for the C-grade jokers he was bashing up having so many restrictions imposed on them

  • @ARKN06 Correct!

  • @ARKN06 viv averaged 40 against pakistan 44 against aus. he murdered indian an english bowlers. those monsters(again exaggerated) were in his side.

  • Finally there was the small matter of the pitches being fast bouncy minefields in the 70s and 80s when they were mostly good to great batting tracks in the 90s and this decade .... yet another fact that I am sure counts against Viv and for SRT. Also I understand that Azhar, Jadeja, Laxman, Ganguly, Dravid, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Kumble were/are all shitty, faggotic, parasitic etc. I am sure WI, Eng, Pak and NZ were studded with batting stars throughout the 90s and this decade.

  • @ARKN06 watch youtube vio pitches of 80's were slower though more un predictable.

  • also, Bradman didn't say Richards plays similar to him. He said Sachin plays similar to him.

  • Yes thats since Bradman knew that EVEN he could not play the 100 mph bowlers on those minefields of the 70s and 80s without even a helmet and zero rules helping batsmen the way the KING did. Brdman said that 'he would pay his last dollar to watch the KING bat'. There's Bradman, then the KING, followed by Sobers, Hobbs, Hammond, Kanhai, Gasvaskar, Chappell, Barry Richards, Graeme Pollock etc. Somewhere further down is Lara, then SRT, Waugh, Ponting etc.

  • @ARKN06 yes for some funny reason batsmen are declining in quality. same way as our cars are getting shabbier.

  • a fearless player high class

  • the original master blaster- the man!

  • After Bradman's era, the only couple of batsman I'd rate ahead of Viv are Gary Sobers and Graeme Pollock. Both these guys were just born gifted. But other than these two, I don't think anyone can better Viv (since Bradman's era).

  • Respect the Jumbo !

  • the man, the legend.

  • look 20 years only in it for the love of the game nobody fuks wid sachin i havent seen bradman play so dats irrelevant

  • Sheer brilliance,a batting genius.Without doubt the best batsman i ever saw.He could murder any attack you put up against him, spin, pace, swing, you name it,and he made it look so easy.A privilege to have seen him play.

  • I would give my last cent to see the King bat even now, one final time.

  • Will you all please have a word with yourself? This senseless "getting personal" about a game we ALL clearly love is quite daft!

It doesn't really matter if the greatest batsman was Richards (IVA or Barry), Tendulkar, Bradman or anyone else that anyone cares to nominate; it's just an opinion! No need for personal comments, if you want to go that low then stick to football!!

For the record Viv Richards, in my personal opinion, is the greatest but I never saw Bradman. Tendulkar is wonderful too

  • Bradman 1 - Richards 2.

Richards is the greatest batsman of the modern Test era. His innings changed match results.

  • Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards a.k.a "King" Richards :-)

  • Richard kya teri behain ka kusam tha? LOL..Pehainchord!

Are- Hina263 tu tho bada puddu nikala, mein tho sirf ke raha tha ke mere do favourite batsmen hain, Saeed bhai aur Richards saab!

  • Teri maa ka bhosra

  • 2:19 wow!!!

  • Abay pagal kay bachon specially kabir8123 tujay sir vivian richard aur saeed anwar ki batting aik jaisi lagti hai tera demagh to kharab nahin hai ya tu andha hai.Aur tu swansnut tujay zaleel sachin tendulkar ki batting sir richard ki tarha lagti hai tu andha hai kya.Sir Richard ki tarha koi nahin khelta.

  • One of the all-time great batsman! Saeed Anwar (Pakistani) is also my favourite player, and he had a similar batting stance & style...

  • Very Funny. Anwar aur Richard mein zameen-aasmaan ka farak hain!

  • oh my bloody world.. he looks like tendulkar and dhoni rolled into one..

  • You should also look at the era in which he played; the other best batsmen of the time were Gavaskar, Border, Chappels, Miandad, Zaheer etc. but there was a sea of difference between the way VIV played and the way others played. Scoring over 3-4 an over in a test match is very common now but back then when VIV did it - no one else capable of that. That's what puts him in a completely different league altogether. And he also had to do it against a much better bowling attack.

  • Everyone seems to want to compare Viv to Tendulkar, Ponting & so on. One difference well a few actually. 1. the pitches are a batsmans paradise these days pitches are perfectly flat. & 2. Viv had to contend with the likes of Lillee, Thompson, Botham, Imran Khan & others. So to me Viv is a close 2nd to Bradman.

  • @FBody305 watch youtube videos pitches of eighties were slower than today.certainly more unpredictable but slower.

  • Just 1 last point, Viv owned for 30 years the Test aggregate for most runs in a calendar year, 1,710 at an average of 90!!!! Mohammed Yusuf just brke it, but realistically, MY scored the vast majority on the dusty roads of Asia, Viv in England on seaming pitches, so it still is the benchmark, as after that he came to Australia & had to face Lillee & Thomson at their peaks. MY wouldny know what class bowling is. Richards rocks.

  • Yeah MY wouldn't know what class bowling is because everybody was throwing the ball underhand to him.... ass

  • Mate, MY cant play a hook shot let alone a pull shot. Viv had every shot in the book. MY wouldnt last 15 minutes against Lillee & Thomson. Viv was the only batsman able to hook & pull Thomson at will. He is the greatest attacking batsman ever, 2nd to Bradman

  • in the book. He scored 829 runs in only 4 tests in a series in Englans & scored 3 double centuries, including 291 in that series. Viv could have easily broken the Test highest score if he wanted it, but he was a team man & an entertainer. If it came down to the last 10 overs & my team needed 120 runs to win, I'd send Viv in before Tendulkar, Lara, Gilchrist, Ponting...whoever, because I know Viv could score more in those 10 overs than any player in history....he is the ultimate CRICKET GOD!!!

  • (Part 2) Viv ALWAYS produced at the clutch time when a game was in the balance. 189no in a world cup semi final, after being 7/80, WI make 270 & win by 20! He did this over & over again. He was a legendary fielder, leader & never wore a helmet, he has the best right handed hooker & puller ever, unbelievable! For a majority of his career, Viv averaged over 63 in Tests, Never played 4 averages, did enough for WI to win, an entertainer. If Viv wanted to bat like Sachin, he'd own all the records in

  • @yippaoz a stroker is not necessarily a good defensive batsman. sometimes atacck is the best form defence.

  • bublubhuyan, Tendulkar is a great batsman, but he is not on the upper echalon, only Bradman, Sobers, Hobbs & the Mighty Viv Richards are there. Tendulkar is a worker of the ball, Viv just massacred attacks. Many times he made examples of bowlers...Merv Hughes got smashes 4 26 in a Test over, even Dennis Lillee copt a hiding at times. Viv is the best batsmen of the last 30 years, no one questions that. He is also the highest averaging 1 day No: 3 averaging 47, & 63 in World Cup matches.

  • says who?only you...but legends like hadlee, warne, donald rated sachin the best...hadlee rated sachin the best batsman ever better than don himself...i guess they know better than you who belong to the upper echelon...

  • Man Sachin plays with an armour to cover himself, and Viv Richards faced the fastest bowlers with just a cap on his head... Hope that answers it all..

  • er,it was coz there were no helmets when he started playing right through end of 70s that he didn't wear any gear...it was only in 80s that it became as a necessity just like Pads but as he got accustomed to wearing just a cap he didn't wear helmet..if sachin was born in that era he would've done the same thing...

infact viv is lucky to be on the same side of the most feared bowlers of cricket...

but then gavaskar scored 13 centuries against that attack...what do you say about that?

  • Ha ha ... I know why Viv didnt wear Helmet my dear... I have personally seen him batting (live not on TV)and ransacking the fast bowlers of those days and have also seen our little master Gavaskar playing ( also live)...I dont know what answer are you looking from me and what is your point...The fact is that you cant compare todays batsmen with Richards and Gavaskar, since they were much more skillful and dedicated than todays players...

  • The point which I was trying to bring about is that to play bowlers bowling at 100 mph plus, without any headgear and other protective guards, requires tremendous guts, skill, talent , eyesight, quick reflexes, movement etc. So its meaningless to compare todays batsmen with all the protective tools and spring loaded willows against the players, like Richards, Kanhai, Kallicharan, Gavaskar and the Chappels...

  • @arnabpsen who bole at 100 miles plus? those are truck loads of fairy stories.

  • @yippaoz worker of ball? watch his ninetie videos an say he is a worke of the ball. btw viv has zero backfoot offsie shots. what o you call that? he wont suviv with that approach on ninety surfaces an ninety non west inies bowling. although being such a natural genius he would adapt sure.

  • um in 2000, wisden released top 5 cricketers of the century viv was in there sachin was not am i right?

  • I'm speaking of who is the better batsman, not cricketer.

  • viv could change a game, sachin has rarely shown that quality. so i would rather viv the batsman more then sachin the batsman

  • master blaster?da master blaster is jayasuriya!

  • sir viv richards wadadli antigua and west indies and cricket best no doubt..the best ever

  • hewas and will be the greatest ever

  • 2:08.. how he reads it so well

  • Greatest!!! The only other batsmen who could match him is Adam Gilchrist and Brian Lara.

  • No matter which country you where from you couldn't help but to enjoy the West Indies' charisma!!!

And its just so saddening that West Indian cricket no longer has the passion anymore as did in those glory years.

  • things i love about Viv.. 1. confidence.. his walk, his shots.. 2. never wears helmet 3. cool dude

  • god ov batting he was de best no 1 even is close to him in batting how can he play shots like dis no 1 except him

  • im really impressed with his short selection, how quickly he gets on to the position to play the short whereever he wants, wow!

For him, I think the test match is juz like a one day for him lolz...Neither Tendulkar NOR any one else can beat him at all!

  • I guess you are Pakistani, why the Fxxx do you want to bring Tendulkar in between...

Did anybody here feel Tendulkar is better than Viv...Shut ur axx and watch the video, do enjoy it but not compare the King (Viv Richards) with anybody else. You Moron

  • LOL.very true.

ONLY the pakis will go on and on.

They simply lack the maturity to appreciate genius irrespective of geographic location.

  • this man is the greatest!

  • The greatest batsman of my time (watching since the late 60's). And thanks for what you did for Glamorgan, Viv

  • i miss the calypso kings... hope west indies come out of the wilderness soon cause at their best they just made it look too easyyy mon

  • the reason i started playing cricket thankyou Viv.

  • Wish we had batsmen like this in India.

  • I wish we had batsmen like Richards, Sobers or Lara in India. All we have is Tendulkar. He is no match to the King even with a helmet on. Sorry state of affairs for a country of over a billion where cricket is the only sport

  • For a self confessed "cricket fan" you seem to have a very limited knowledge of cricket/batting.

  • yeah!indeed he's better than king himself...sad WI or any other country couldn't have a batsman like sachin tendulkar...

  • blah blah he won 2 WCS for West Indies and he is the favorite batsmen for Tendulkar . keep blabbering
