i hear the pcs are cheaper than macs comment a lot. what they miss is that with mac you are paying for the polish of the software. pc oems throw third party shit on top of windows with poor integration. those acers that bryan talked about have two antiviruses. its a free country if you want to get a civic and pimp it thats fine. or you can get an m3 and pay more. no media workshop worth their salt is gonna get a pc and put hachintosh on it. they make that money in a day.
Hackintosh Build: Part Two??? All they did was ass around, install a heatsink, fans and memory... As for the first video, 2 hours to build a computer and more assing around! I learned absolutely nothing.
@mrawesome5678 yh thats what i thought 2 but why would u overclock and i7 from 2.66 to just 2.8 i mean u can overclock it much more with the default cooler..
Hi Chris you never actually said what the problem was with the restart problem, i have the same problem (restart looping when trying to load off disc) and i really need your help/advise. i have tried different kernels, boot options and so on but with no joy, thanks
yeah, the best way to get a bracket off is to: Switch the pc on with the cooler that fits the bracket. Let the cpu get hot. Switch off the pc and quickly get the bracket off, which is what you guys did i guess.
This install is similar to iboot method!

Misleading title. Should be, How to Install a PC Component for 3 hours! This is embarrassing. Why would you post something like this?

it sounds like you're saying mac pros suck but there are still advantages to the mac pro over a hackintosh

if you guys are building a hacintoish make sure that you check all your hardwar if you use the efi-x because it only supports some firmwares

Voted down for Rebel EFI. The software steals several open source projects and gives a really basic GUI.
YaknowWat 2 years ago
@YaknowWat yeah i would go with empire it dosent steal anything and its free

So, you guys recommend Rebel/Empire EFI ?
