I used the CHDK firmware for the Canon Powershot SD780IS camera to record a series of high resolution photos over time using an intervalometer script then converted them into a time-lapse movie using my desktop computer. This allowed me to create the 1080p resolution movie.

Great ,thanks for the upload. i didn't know the SD780is can output a 1080p resolution picture. Did i miss something?
