nascar thunder 2003 for ps2 was very fun. i couldnt let go of it. i played everyday with a steering wheel and pedals that i had for it. WOW best game ever. but recently i lost it so i cant play it. thats why im looking for a new nascar game. give me a score from 1-10 tell me what you all think about nascar 2011

From screen shots I've seen before, it looked like wrecks would be good. From this video, they look about like EA Sports games where hardly anybody is affected. In the replay at 5:11 several cars make contact, but most stay straight like nothing happened. Dirt To Daytona still has the best wreck physics of any NASCAR game I've seen so far. I own NASCAR 98 though NASCAR 09 from N64 to PS3. I'll get this one sometime, but not yet, doesn't look as good as the hype around it made it to be.

wow they gave danica a mans body. i mean come on its like they took the same generic body and just added the drivers head probably thinking danica's never gonna win so who cares. lol this game looks shitty and everyone i see playing it just dominates. who wants to blow by everyone for 3 laps then just rape everyone?! i was hoping this would be more sim and not just pure arcade... why do people who make nascar games always seem to fuck it up?

when you win races do you get new sponsors like GRID and if there is do you make more money with the new sponsors? or is there no reward for winning

@alpinestarsssss Well knida cause in career mode you have to do certain things, like finish races so well, to like "gain" the sponsor even though it's already on your car

@tymanrules It's easy at Talladega and Daytona, but tougher at Bristol, because the slightest contact will make you spin out

@BB2921 that would seem to be understandable, on the other hand knowing Activision's lesser known companies i wouldn't be expecting a multi-player update just yet. is there any features like they had in the past? for instance, beat the heat, NASCAR Legends, & stuff of that such. i'd expect it to have a few extra features. :P

@tymanrules No, it's a glitch. Carl Edwards is the only driver who does a backflip in real life. They'll fix it in the patch.

i do agree with you in some things, but we have to consider this is eutecnynx first NASCAR game that has online multiplayer, so the will have some problems also the servers will be kinda slow because the game just came out, but in my option this game is WAY better then that crap from EA, EA never had 1 patch for there NASCAR games, eutecnyx already has 1 ready to be released in a few months, and hopefully they will fix some bugs and issues other than the 2011 cars

good review, funny that the online doesnt work. I remember the last online console nascar game i played, i think it was by EA, and it didnt work well online either. graphics look decent and racing looks fun, but ill prolly wait until its in the 20 dollar range in a year
