I've just watched this movie (hollywood version) after two years released...its very touching and after tried to find the true story behind this, i found japan version of hachiko story and i'm watching it right now...

I cried on this movie just reading the description, and hadn't even seen it yet. 5 hrs later I've looked him up on wiki, and everything n still can't stop crying tears are just involuntary. Look up on wiki even the similar cases sections made me cry more. This has become one of my 3 fav movies along with braveheart, n Indian in cupboard. The remake of this I mean but I'm gunman watch this now also.

i started to watch the version with Richard Gere, then I thought, wait this is the Dog at Shibuya station? Its a Japanese story. So I searched and found with subtitles. Thank you so much, I wanted to see this ever since I saw that statue at the station. Smiles to you.

I also want to let you know I think a "real man" is one who has the love, strength and honor to be honest, just, loyal, kind, and affectionate.

I also cried because I wish more people were as strong and loving in this world.

You totally understood the message of this story and the message is a further reason why I've uploaded the movie...

People sometimes are trying hard to be loyal but dogs are loyal during their whole lives. So I think it's fair to say that we humans can learn from them.

Hachiko is a highly inspiring tale of a dog that waited forr his master for 10 years at the samee place everyday, which actually happened, this movie is the story of it, and i have to say, it is both sad, but insiring, it shows what true loyalty is, and it shows us, how precious your dog is to you and how much they love you. rate this up if you agree with me people!

i love this version and the hachi richard gere one, so touching it made cry all right but it was worth the tears. Im planning to visit my mom in toKyo and im mos def will check out shibuya station and where his remains are i believe its at the museum in tokyo. thank you so much for the english subs. Hi When I was looking for this movie I had to put inalso " English Subtitles" and it came up.

Maybe if you put a tag with English subtitles it probably will be easier for some to find
