  • ...easy u drop guitar tuning to drop C and everything sounds like amon amarth^^ you can finde this rhytm in 1000 songs..just replace the notes on the second string oO

  • sweet riff man !

  • the black n white really tripped me out for a sec XD

  • sounds like a warmup exercise and every other metalcore riff I've heard.

why was this in my suggested videos?

  • can you play DIO just to HAIL and NEIL and play your guitar for DIO THE GOD OF ALL METAL GODS DIO HE IS IMMORTAL FOR HE DID NOT DIE CANCER CANT KILL A GOD DIO JUST WENT BACK HOME TO HEAVEN AND HELL FOR THAT IS HIS KING DOME

  • i pressed the replay button over and over trying to air drum a part to that haha

  • wow. this sucks. like bad. 7 8 10 7 5. frets for metal core. play some real stuff or atleast more original

  • @ThaThing1337x Whatever sounds good. I could play a riff you could never play in a million years, but I would never incorporate into a song because it sounds like shit. Ie. Mathcore.

  • lol...I like how he looks all impressed with himself towards the end... Like he has accomplished something original.

  • Epiphone prophecy = awesome

  • @Aaarrrggghhification hah i was just about to post a comment asking what guitar that was because it looks and sounds pretty sick and you were the first comment i saw and already saying the name of the guitar...thanks bro and yeah it is prettty awesome

  • How to play Metalcore:

Drop guitar tuning down to drop C.

Play a chord progression of C, G# and A with random notes of the minor scales in between the chords.

Also, just do palm muted open C chord in break down.

    There it is.

  • @ThaThing1337x how to play melodic-metal:

tuning doesn't care, but Standard or standard lower tunings are often used.

Same like the Metalcore instead of some things: you don't play palm muted open strongs between the notes, so in the end you've just less notes.

    is it that? NO!

Metalcore is much more thant what you wrote and Melodic(death)-Metal is much more as I wrote.

I know there are many Metalcore bands who play always the same.... but in other metalgenres it's exactls the same.

  • @DerSchwermetaller wow, are you like 3 years old? how long did it take you to generate that fail explanation on metalcore? Please stop embarassing yourself.

  • @DevonBenoit wow, where did you learn to read? What I wanted to say is just: of course, there are really too many bands who make always the same shit -.- and many of them call themselves Metalcore. But most of them jsut play some different styles together and breakdowns, and then they say, it's metalcore. But actually, The (don't missunderstand me) "real" Metalcore is much more than the drop C tuning and so on, like that what ThaThing1337x said. "Shadows Fall" for example is "real"metalcore.

  • @DerSchwermetaller Our miscommunication must be because you are foreign to america, no? my apologies, i understand what you're saying

  • @ThaThing1337x how to be a douche bag:

comment about stupid shit on other ppls videos

think u know what ur talking about

try to make a funny to get thumbs up

Also, have no videos of urself playing yet criticize others for trying.

    There it is. :)

  • @ThaThing1337x or tritone breakdowns

  • @ThaThing1337x yeah thats true to standart boring metalcore...but theres so much more to do

  • @ThaThing1337x So true. That's generic metalcore for ya. Thank god for August Burns Red and Misery Signals and all the metalcore musicians that mix it up and make shit amazing

  • @ThaThing1337x Progression is C, G# and A#. not A.

    EPIC FAIL

  • @ThaThing1337x Only not ALL Metalcore songs sound like that. Nice stereotype though.

  • @ThaThing1337x why would you play a progression with A?! you mean A# I think, and G is also used quite often. Oh, and if you want to play like the masters of metalcore: don't forget;

a)the c#-g chord in breakdowns with half speed cymbals

b)added b in the minor scale

    c) and don't forget mini breakdowns in between to riffs, most of the time on first fret(c#)

But, you're right... metalcore needs innovation:D

  • @ThaThing1337x

LOL, that's exactly what Metalcore is. Yet, I still listen to it. Admitdley though, a LOT of Metalcore sounds very samey.

  • Nice riff dude ;)

  • Ive got the same guitar man. What are you running through

  • gay

  • @iGotUrDigimon Igoturdigimon?? I dont think the guy with the guitar is the gay one here.

  • @jmania21

Your comment made me laugh. xd

  • @jmania21 yea iits not you, good job standing up for your man

  • @iGotUrDigimon hey, look at your identification name!!! XD

  • nieźle : )

  • @alaskanidiot001 what ! any metal sub-genres sound the same if you look at it that way.

  • just to add u might wanna add in the 10th and 5th fret to make it a little more exiting

  • :-D
