yeah pete is not a good bassist! doug is a really talented bassist I love both bands(ok I prefer Mcfly I admit :p),but doug plays great bass line like in "obviously","Lies",I'll be ok", etc...pete just plays bass like a third guitarist in FOB,he just plays the "power chord note" that Patrick or Joe plays...but he's a good song writer.

I totally agree with you. when you see FOB preforming, Pete stays in basically the same place the whole song and just does very basic bass lines. however Dougie, he's all over the fret board. the bass line in "Lies" is insane too as well as loads of other McFly songs. Pete is a good song writer, but I'm afraid McFly has him beat there as well. but let me just say, that I do love both bands. I just love McFly more. :D
