No, liars and attention seekers came forward, it's never been proven a fake and it never will. How are you going to debunk reality, something that took place? The sceptics can't prove it, unless they find suit or Patty's corpse, not likely given the time passed. For Patty geeks like komondomon, the only thing that keeps this hoax going is the willingness of people to keep fooling themselves and misleading others. Some seem unable to allow themselves to look at the massive amount of data that points out how the hoax was accomplished and why it lingers. They seem to NEED the film to be real. Thus, it becomes more a study of psychological phenomena than a search for answers about the old Indian legends.
