  • Just a pity that the bbc don't advertise it as much as the us , with billboards having a real site a forum etc... and can people check out series 1, 2 , 3 tw trailers on my channel in the playlists section the more hits i get the more videos you see, im trying to fill the void with videos before tw and dw are back, and watch this channel as if there are next time trailers after episode 1 us then they'll be uploaded before the uk has even aired or heard of them so be warned spoilers.... :P

  • C'mon guys, we only have to wait an extra 6 days for FAR MORE HOT SEX! God bless the BBC wanting to be seen as 'boundary pushing'. However, I too will be watching both versions! I know which I'm looking forward to more ;)

  • Exactly, Starz gets it first but we get extra 4/5 minutes for the wait of 6 days, i think its worth it although ill still watch both versions just to see the difference :)

  • UK fans will get the longer and racier version, lucky b@$#@%7$. Worth waiting for I think.

  • i'm afraid even the proposed 6 days is more than nescessary.... its 6 days more than nescessary.... in fact. 6 days for the whole of the UK to download it? i think BBC could end up with truly rubbish viewing figures if theyre not more careful.

  • i agree. these television companies are paid enough, and should get their acts together, I will be one of those people who wants torchwood, a product of my own country... faster than 3 weeks after premier... i will already have downloaded it and wont be watching its uk television debut.

  • This would have more impact if Starz hadn't already released hundreds of trailers already. Starz is ruining that epic build-up you usually get from the BBC. Such a shame, but oh well... it looks epic!

  • cant wait gunna be epic

  • I know that in America they release dates and trailers far earlier but this is just pathetic. I mean there were loads of trailers for this on Starz and now just over a couple of weeks before it is shown in the UK they thought 'Hang on. We need to make a trailer'. and made this together in half a minute. Whatever happens I will remain a fan of Torchwood but they really need to get their act together.

  • @MasterKasterborous I know, but at least we're not 2 weeks behind and previously stated, this means less people will turn to piracy etc, but i know the bbc deffinetly need to start to "value" their shows more, we wanted a trailer not a teaser :|

  • @ZeRedDalek I am seriously worried about the future of Torchwood. I know that Torchwood needed outside funding but by putting it on the BBC 6 days after Starz they will lose many viewers due to online piracy. Later, when thinking if they are going to make a 5th series, they will look at the viewing figures and go 'It wasn't very popular so we're not going to make another series.' or worse 'Here in the UK the viewing figures are prettylow but in America they're higher so lets sell it to America'

  • @MasterKasterborous you cant really look at it being a series 5 in america as a too bad as a thing yeah we wont get it but people will upload it and then dvd sales im not trying to promote illegal downloads but if its on youtube you might as well enjoy whilst you can :)

  • @ZeRedDalek That's not what I meant I am worried because if they totally Americanise Torchwood it just wouldn't be any good.
