i watched this before i knew about elfen lied, i just knew about the song, and thought it was something to do with the bible (I played the song with a friend on violin)

Then I decided to watch Elfen Lied because I watch a buit of anime and wanted to see what the fuss was about.

Oh gosh, now all I want to do is cry, from both sadness and happiness :)

The saxophone was off terribly after the choir came back in, though it nailed the solo. It stood out for me because the only other instrument used was a piano. Other than that this is terrific.

I felt something so powerful at the very end cant describe it but it was like empathy, like I felt Lucy's pain and depression. Even if its just an anime it really teaches you to treat your fellow human beings better even when they look or act differently. Thid story served its purpose and is my third favorite abime behind angel beats and clannad:)

I don´t know why people say that chrurch wouldn´t like this knowing where it come´s from (even though this is a school concert). The song is really beatifull and the anime is a lot more than violence and nudity, it has a real deep critic of how we are conforming as a society and other great topics. The fact that this church allowed this song to be song, knowing where it came from, makes it awesome. My priest looked sick when I told him the origins of this song...
