The Polish called ups were really bad for this turney. Only a few of those players like Janczyk or Malecki have a chance to play on the national team. The players that did play played in the wrong positions like Cywka, who is not that good anyway. He should have called up Pawlowski, Cwielong, Cetnarski, Glik, Socha, Rzezniczak. Lewandowski should have played beside Janczyk. Then we could've compared who's better but with players like Marciniak and Strugarek starting, what the point?

I have watched this video multiple times because I was quite impressed by our strong showing.

I was unimpressed by the unaggressive defense of the Poles.

However, I think the reason is because this is an artificial pitch. (Thus slide tackling is both very unpleasant and less effective.)

Personally I am not a fan of artificial fields, and my guess was that this pitch was.

Well! Often a lot of goals falls when you are leaded by the other team and have nothing to loose! So the team attack and the defense is less organised because they try to push. So the poles were attacking and the usa team was defending... After their lead the usa team was playing the counter attack strategy... And you can see it clearly because most of the goals were scored on rushes ;)

The leagues in Europe have so much history, tradition, and culture behind them, it will take decades for MLS to even become close to them.

For now, it's more important to raise our skills, and then once our skills are up we can work on the league.
