The blue jays are are SO loud - they are another thorn in my side. They scare away all the little birds! But I'm starting to find the squirrels entertaining. I can't believe how they get to the feeder sometime.
I hate rats (squirrels are just rats with puffy tails). You have to have steel and cast iron feeders so that little ****ers can't chew them up. I like to shoot them because they try to eat up all the peanuts I put out for the Blue Jays.
Smear a mixture of oil and red pepper pieces on the poles. Mix these ingredients in a pan over medium to high heat. And, if you use olive oil, it tastes pretty good on an omelet.
