Playing F2P is basically like playing the game for Free anyway, well, for EQ1.... You get max lvl and basically everything else you need to make it fun. I can't wait to play again!

Sony sucks at making mmo's and that is only because they are put sooo many restrictions in them, if everquest 2 would go completely free I'd bet money the player base would explode

should be free to play/silver 1$ amonth/gold $5 a month cause the game is just so old I dont see many if any wanting to go back to such an old title. It was awesome back in the day for its time but yeah $15 a month is way to high for that game

Ok... so I don't know why I did this, but I reinstalled Everquest last weekend. I know, I know, how could it ever be as addicting as it was back in 1998. Well, that was Friday. It's now 4PM Tuesday morning... time to uninstall!

@capsfanjon, I agree that it's not the best. But I grew up playing EQ 1 and no one can deny that Everquest is really the one that got the ball rolling. I remember wwhen I started playing WoW. I didn't even need to read manual, almost every single keyboard command and emote was the same. Shadowknights are also badass, btw. And it's not truly free, about 2/3 of the content is unavailable at the beginning.

@UltimateGamer504 Seriously DCUO... amazing, and nothing like the usual "spam 2 button" combat like in WoW, EQ, & LOTRO. Also SWTOR despite having similar combat to the above 3, it has no auto attack making it a big more interactive, and it animations are very flashy and cool + it is 100% fully voice acted and you can have a legit conversation with a NPS (like in most Bioware games) also Guild Wars 2 is coming out soon, it looks absolutely stunning!!!
