they tested this "calculating dogs" and found out that when the owner is not in sight/same room the dogs can NOT calculate at all. i'm sorry.

the trainer is signalling the dog somehow cos you can see the dog watching her for some sort of guidance. The thing is the trainer isn't shown on the camera so you can't see what she's doing whilst the dog is counting.

i am wondering why the answer to all math questions is SIX or EIGHT.

If maggie hears "four +/-/*...." she taps 8 times

When someone says "three +/-/ " she taps only 6 times....

And how can she tap 8 or 6 times exactly? I mean if she can't count that means she can't tap her leg 6 times or 8 times exactly, even if she memorized the answers instead of understanding them. How does she know when she reaches 8 taps and stops? Obviously you didn't ask yourself that.

I saw a programme on this dog last night in England and they did loads of tests on this dog. She can answer loads of maths questions with different answers correctly. But when they asked the dog one of these questions when the owner was not in the room e.g. 2+6 her answers were wrong everytime, she answered 13 to that question.

Basically the show proved that the dog is not able to solvw these math problems on its own.

This isn't math. There is a trigger, the dog is trained to start pawing and to stop when she does something else. If they would of show the handler the whole time you would see a pattern.
