@TheRunescapePlayerz Hi, thanks for your interest. The first thing you need is patience and a good sense of observation. Pay close attention to body language. When he or she is ready to go, their body language will express their need to go. Next be ready to escort your doggy to an area that is nearby the exit door to the outside.
@TheRunescapePlayer (You should paper train in that area near door) If you happen to have some leftover Christmas bells (or similar) then take them and hang them on the door that is being used as the exit. Every time the door opens, the bells chime. A smart dog will associate this sound with potty time. The more you let them out, the better. Soon your doggy will nudge the bells to inform you that it's potty time. GOOD LUCK!!
Plaese don't hit Nala with the paper.Feed her same time each day in the evening.Observe carefully her body language. When ready to boo take her out. let her boo and pee then praise her verbally. This must be done as often as possible. Before bedtime set up pee pad near door where she goes out every time. Try not to put pads in the path where you walk. You as parents must really observe her through this process.LOTS OF LOVE AND PRAISE WILL HELP. GOOD LUCK!
OMG, you have to know i am impress, i love dobys, i just got my puppy, her name is nala, she is almost 3 mohts old, and she is very smart, she knowa how to sit, and also to whait to it until i let her, but i have a big big problem, she still pooping inside the house, at night we close the door, so at mornig i always have to clean the mess up, and i am hitting her with news paper cause a friend told me doesnt hurt. what can i do to make my little girl do these ?! please please lol
Thanks so much for your comment. The bells are left hanging on the door year round.Everytime you open and close the bells go off.We spent a LOT of time opening the door for her anytime she wanted to potty,DAY and NIGHT.She picked up on it and with her DOBIE :) instinct came up with the idea of ringing the bells. The bells were there originally there to alert us in case of an intruder.DOBERMANS...YEAH!!!!!
That is beautiful!!
