So we Shia believe that the same way Allah bless Prophet Ibraheem a great generation of Prophet Allah blessed our Prophet with 12 Imams :)

Imam Ali (AS) is better then the Quran book you have, he was the talking Quran. Don't forget this man lived with the Prophet since he was a kid :)

First of all Allah (SWT) sometimes prefer a man or a female over others for example both Sunni and Shia believe Lady Fatima was the best daughter and Allah gave her a special rank. Imam Ali (AS) was married to this lady and this lady brought grandsons to the last messenger.
