Im 16, and live in Tasmania. Its the worst place for young people in my opinion. No good bands, no theme parks, no huge shopping malls. Its mostly good for older people. In the video it showed a lot of people eating, there are just as many take a ways and unhealthy places as anywhere else, maybe less because Tassie is so small, its hardly worth wasting the money to put anywhere decent here.

I think so many people are eating because that's what Tasmania is famous for; its produce. The states most succesful exports are food and drink; beer, wine, meat, dairy, fruit.

I agree with Theycallmehans though, it's getting better but there's not a lot here as far as variety goes for young people. Theme park would be awesome, they can even theme it tasmania for all I care, as long as there's a rollercoaster and a carousel I'd be happy :p

Same here mate. It is too cold, too boring and there are a lot of weird people there. But after travelling around Australia and a lot of other countries, it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I want to retire there (with a good heater lol) in about 20 or 30 years time. What is Tasmania? I can tell you that it's the best frikken state of Australia. Read below and it is plain to see that Tasmania is truly the greatest place to be in. I've been as far as Melbourne, and that was over 30 years ago.
