if your looking for a good windows mobile phone you have to get the htc hd2. the reason its slow on the video is cause his internal hardware isint the most up to date!!!!
I think the real problem with WinMo is that it was never really designed for touchscreen UI....it was just recently adapted for touchscreen to keep up with the trend....
The hardware of this phone is very nice!! Hopefully for verizon people the software is speedier in web viewing. Wish this was coming to sprint but the Hero will do for me till we get a big all touch screen device ;)
The Opera browser that HTC includes works very well. I was only showing the default IE browser. Few people will be using it since Opera is he default. This wasn't an Imagio review, just a WM6.5 tour.
These guys have got to work for At&t or t-mobile. They hatin so much on verizon. They are trying to make this phone inferior than what it is. Trust me this phone operates much better than he is presented it.
How exactly do you think I could be making the phone not work well? The problem is WM6.5. The TouchFLO 3D UI that HTC has enabled by default works much better, but this video was about WM6.5. And so far, it is not very impressive. The Imagio as a whole, however, is a pretty rocking device.
"The problem is WM6.5. The TouchFLO 3D UI that HTC has enabled by default works much better..."
That was a somewhat misleading statement. It makes it sound as though WinMo6.5 is a user interface. Even when TouchFlo 3D is enabled you are still running WinMo 6.5. So it's not fair to say "the problem is WM6.5".
My opinion has always been that WinMo is a great mobile OS if you know how to tweak it. You like it with the TouchFlo overlay, which supports my point. HTC just did the tweaking for us
And my point is the WM6.5 user interface is still lacking in comparison. From most user's perspectives, the UI *is* the OS. I know the difference between a UI and an OS, and fully realize that TouchFLO rests upon WinMo.
I know that you're familiar with the differences between UI and OS. I wouldn't subscribe if you weren't. You are knowledgeable and I enjoy your reviews.
I was just clarifying for those who don't know the difference.
Very nice review. I guess we can't really expect much from microsoft. It seems like they can never get their OS's working properly until they are right about to release a newer one.
@mobileburn can i install apps into micro sd card using window mobile 6.5 professional on htc touch2 t3333 ???

@kyrieeleison31 ummm you do know Winmo has been touch screen since at least 2003, that was before touchscreen really became a trend.

which has threaded sms/mms? WM 6.5 or TF3D?
cooldude12345657 2 years ago
Threaded SMS is part of Windows Mobile, it has nothing to do with TouchFLO 3D.
