also i think Sylar's power caused so much trauma that she overloaded her electric buildup and just exploded with energy, which made her become unstable until sylar helped her.

im pretty sure he lit her on fire, but before he cut her head open, i'll have to see it again to be sure exactly how, but they showed it.

the scene i have in this vid was from beginning of season 3, when her power released all the prisoners in level 5
