  • And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24, 25 AMP)

  • THE CHURCH IS NOT A BUILDING !!!!!!!!

    WE ARE THE CHURCH !!!!!!!!

JESUS DID NOT GIVE HIS LIFE FOR A BUILDING !

I HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE HOUSE OF RITUALS IN A WHILE BUT I STILL GO HARD FOR MY SAVIOR JESUS!

God help us stop this ritualistic faith and lets stop turning the believers into spiritual zombies

  • "how u livin it?"

This is not a hate message and yes I'm a Believer. I'm walking on egg shells cause this is YouTube & people are people at the end of the day.

Nice song. I had to listen to it twice after reading the comments. Seems like he's attacking the church; I didn't say he is. Strong lyrics and very confrontational. Lol... That's what a lot of "church people" do. No pun.

Wether it's the beginning or the becoming: How u livin it?

  • It's not about a number, it's about being a part of a community of believers. Hebrews 10:25 says "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching." God wants us to be strong in Him and for Him. One major component is interacting and working with other believers--even when they let us down. 'Cause sure enough we ourselves will let someone else down at some point in time...

  • Not trying to force a bottom line here...but we as Christians bear an aroma of Christ to God. (So you can use an analogy to liken us to flowers that smell nice.)

Obviously different flowers have different situations, but flowers smell nicer when you've got a group of them together. Since we aim to please God with a scenting aroma - it would be best to group --- "Two are better than one....threefold cord is not quickly broken."

  • Real talk, my man. Keep speaking.

  • Great song! But you don't HAVE to get a membership number and card in order to be an active part of a church. I don't do "membership" anymore, but guess what, I'm a member of GOD'S Church (the Ekklesia). There are members of YOUR church who are NOT members of GOD'S church. So I kinda disagree with his lyrics. He doesn't understand that church has NOTHING to do with a building. JUST the true born again believers.

  • @SheLovesG0D Either you didn't listen to the song at all or you are blind to its message. Nowhere does he mention a building which makes me feel the latter is your presuppositional delusion. If you are a Christian your desire should be to be with other Christians. I love his analogy of the guest who doesn't commit to a membership is like "friend's with benefits." Christ died for the church, not for the lone ranger Christian. Repent and believe the gospel!

  • @AgathosKaiAlethia Watch my videos and you will CLEARLY see that I am a Christian used of the Most High God. He shouldn't have made it seem that you HAVE to join a church building. Jesus is not coming back to rapture buildings but people who REALLY have accepted him in their heart. Church buildings can be FILLED with unbelievers. So NO you do NOT have become a member of a church, but you MUST be a believer and a part of the EKKLESIA. Now YOU REPENT AND GET SAVED.

  • @SheLovesG0D You do realize that the basis behind the Greek word the new testament uses for the church has to do with the assembly of the elect of God right? AKA his chosen people gathering together to worship Him. The Bible knows nothing of the lone ranger Christian, which is my point. Anything else is a counterfeit gospel and a counterfeit christ. I am not going to waste anymore time arguing. I haven't mentioned a building, neither did Steve.

  • @SheLovesG0D The Christian apart from the church is a lost sheep. That's why Jesus uses the analogy of a Shepherd and a Flock. Sheep stay together (aka an actual group of church people). I can't make it anymore clear than that.

  • @AgathosKaiAlethia oh!! so someone has to get a MEMBERSHIP number in order to be in the flock? i know members who go to church LESS THAN THE VISITORS! So please quit with that talk about you gotta be a members of a church to be in the flock. WHAT WAS PETER'S MEMBERSHIP NUMBER? What was Paul's membership number? You do not need a membership card to be in the flock. Members don't even go to church as much as some visitors do, so please stop embarrassing yourself with that stuff.

  • @SheLovesG0D Glad you would ask. The God of Israel would be the only person to know what "membership number" we have. However, the Bible makes it clear that God knows us all personally-by name, even to the degree of the number of hairs on our head.

  • @SheLovesG0D Paul and Peter were missionaries, commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. You do realize their parts of the NT, "the epistles" were are written to specific CHURCHES. Gatherers of the GROUP of God's people, not individuals like you seem to dream. He wrote them to the church in a Roman province and not a vague, ambiguous group of people: specific churches. He even calls the MEMBERS out by name for any sins they were into which is the original purpose of the letter.

  • @SheLovesG0D I also saw on your channel you are into a lot of the weird 'pre-mil' hysteria of our time. You do realize that the 7 churches in Revelation were actual churches too and the epistle was meant primarily for them and what was going to happen with the destruction of Jerusalem. My point is the New Testament was meant primarily for the audience of the early church with secondary, broader meanings for us. They were mailed around to all the churches the apostle's planted too.

  • @SheLovesG0D Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, and the finished work of Christ alone. I'm sure you would agree with that. However James tells us that faith without works is dead (Paul reiterates this multiple times). Jesus tells us this too, by his parables of the vine apart from the branch that bears to fruit and is tossed into the fire, aka hell. For iron to sharpen iron there has to be other people to sharpen it on.

  • @SheLovesG0D God established the church as a community for a very simple purpose. He is a triune God. He alone is the epitome of unity--the incomprehensible three persons in one being. Our relationships reflect that in a lesser way, being made in His image. The church helps accomplish this, as we seek for unity in the way that the Father, Son, and Spirit are One. The church allows people from all walks of life to come together and Worship the Creator as ONE, not one BY one.

  • @SheLovesG0D Church membership is not a means of salvation--it is the fruit of it, the Godly desire to want to be drawn to His people, His flock. Sure there are wolves masked in sheep's clothing as members of the church; Satan himself is an 'angel of light.' WHO CARES! God will separate the wheat from the tares, not us. Instead we come together and worship him with the body of believers so that we might bring his KINGDOM here to earth, as it is in heaven--this glorious redemptive HIStory!

  • The crazy thing is he sounds this clear when he spits live and barely takes breaths, lol.

  • @ResurrectedProdigal i know right lol when does he breathe

  • Membership is being part of the body, but how can you be a body part, apart from the body. SELAH

  • WOW these lyrics cut in deep! We can all improve our efforts RIGHT CHURCH!?!?!!!!!

  • Stephen the Levite is my favorite artist out there. Every verse is a challenge!!! God is using him. Stay faithful and diligent!!! Favorite lines 3:48-4:10. (He references three verses in 22 seconds ....Proverbs 27:17, 1st peter 5:8, 1st john 2:19)
