It is a shame shows of this quality are never realised until after they have been cancelled. Andromeda, Babylon 5, Space: Above and Beyond - to name but a few.

I wasn't referring specifcally to Babylon 5 being cancelled - Babylon 5 being one of the shows that had a quality that was never understood for its time (and still isn't today)

bab 5's 'quality' is understood, jts just not common.

much of it is represented much more as retelling of myth & legend story telling style then the 'sci-fi soap opera' many are used to.

it was also rather somethine of a sci-fi epic.
