these wolves are just stuck in limbo, with the world repeating itself over and over again. This is not a happy ending, what's happy if all the deaths are just going to repeat itself. That was how I interpreted the ending. What's worse, is that all the wolves (except Kiba) probably turned human.

@liley59 ... its a really great anime, it might take a few episodes to take off but once the pace is set and the plot laid out its one of the best ive ever watched :)

Im warning you the plot is to some people quite complex, but if you dont understand it just open up your laptop and google it ... its not too complicated once you know

Ohh .. and you might cry at the end, because its one of the best endings ever, and it teaches you a lot about life ... go for it :D

Undertaker1012222, they were recarnted.They dont remember each other thats why they were alive.Pardaise was never real, but at the same time it was.Each one found their pardise.The real pardiase was what they wanted it to be.Didnt you notice when Toboe died, they showed him with gran?That was his Pardise.Same with the others.There is no such thing as pardise cause the world just cant be prefect.

how many of you cried as each of them died? i know for a fact that i did. idk what order they died, but tears were starting in my eyes when toboe died, then one was going down my cheek when blue died, then tears were spilling over as tsume died, then they were rolling down as hege died, and by kiba, my eyes were red and puffy, my cheeks soaked. thumbs up if you cried, too.

This anime has treated me well, and I love, it, though it always makes me sad at the end. I wish they could explain it more, it seams as if it is just restarting since they are in the same city that they started out in, in the beginning. I really hope they make a sequel, or something.

What I think happened was, because Cheza said they protected her they got a second chance basically. So they started over, as wolves still, and Cheza still a flower, not have been created into her human form. Blue might have been back but I'm pretty sure Darcia was killed by paradise, suffering the same fate as he loved one. All that was left was his wolf eye. So basically they just had to start from the beginning again.

Dude, you have missed a great part. This is about soul, and creating a paradise. If kiba alone could have reached the mountain, after all he lived with his friend (our wolves that is), it would have been a real paradise. However, darcia's wolf eye tainted it. Who-or-whatever opens the new world decides if it is a paradise or hell, this case it was neither. It was just another world, and everything began from scratch.
