awesome films, both of them.. showing bond to be a cold assassin instead of a cheesy pocket-gizmo randomer, which is what die another day was turning it into! saw the movie, loved it.

i agree, these last two films are close to the books. Only the editing of this movie was extremely poor and unfocused compared to Royale. The fact that it made so much money was more of a tribute to Royale for being such a great Bond movie that this one HAD to be good, but it really wasn't. I walked out completely dissapointed by the lack of execution of this movie.

okay i dunno if you guys have ever read the original james bond short stories, which the movies are all stemmed from, the movies (Casino Royale and QOS) follow them far more closely than the others ever did. James Bond is more than just gadgets and tits, it's a ride through emotional turmoil to the point of total detachment, which i guess is what your "Bond" is. Personally, i like seeing Bond bleed. It's more relatable. He's no super hero, just a man... with a british accent.

this movie is NOT james bond . this guy doesn't have a car , a hot girlfriend , not even high-tech gadgets . THEY RUINEDE THE WHOLE BOND THING , TOTALLY RUINED IT

Didn't think about this, but you're right. He didn't have those double entendres (sp?) like other bond films. And no cool gadgets. Need to keep those in there.
