There apparently is a really really really rare bug or glitch or wateva, tht wen u blow up megaton that all the residents of megaton survive, but wen you fast travel they all die I do not know if this is a load of bullshit but what u got to do is blow up megaton at a certain time nd then u got to walk nd get to megaton at a certain time (btw I got this from a freind who is a bit of a liar when it comes to rpg's so plz dnt kill me if it is bollocks lol)

The weird twisting and elongating of arms and legs is there in some corpses, causing them to fly around you at incredible speeds.

If you are lucky to activate looting their corpse, given they fly around the place at high speed, might fix the bug.

Actually it isn't a bug. You used tcl (console command) to fly, if you kill creatures while having tcl on they get stretched out and you had tcl and died of radiation, which means it ain't a bug. =D

It's Megaton after you blow it up for tenpenny. You place the charge on the bomb, go to tenpenny tower, and detonate the nuke. You also immediately put your name on the "good guy's hit list" with a bullet

he's not saying that his death was caused by a bug, he's saying that WHEN he DID die, his body was stretched and deformed, i.e. there's a bug concerning his corpse. I've seen it happen before after like 15 hours of play - I shot a raider and she was spazzing out and then kind of lifted off and was a floating pulsing splatter in the air, her limbs flailing like an alien creature climbing the atmosphere.

Its a hollow rock on the outskirts of Megaton.

Just go to the (west?) side of Megaton and look for a rock with 4-5 very small trees around it

Well My guess is this is not a bug or a glitch scene you had to use noclip when using noclip in a lot of games if you die your rag doll has a error scene it is attached to the player model and when your player model is not solid neither is your rag doll which can not move with out you moving. Meaning when you nocliped the rag doll was trying to move but it could not move its origin point so it only spazed out also there probably is a clip covering the whole town making it spaze out even more.
