I'm on day 6 & I thought I had a ministroke when it hit me. I give glory, honor & praise to my Lord Jesus Christ for letting it be just a facial nerve. I already have better movement in my eye, cheek and lip. I just needed to hear what GOD was saying through you with reducing the stress in my life and focus on the things that really matter! HIM!! and work HE has for me to do. Thank U for sharing your experience and your life with me and everyone. GOD BLESS U!
Thank you for the info. Im on day3 since I was diagnosed wit Bell Palsy..I'm a new grad LVN and this has hit me really hard... I'm having an Extreme difficult time trying to cope with this and not let it get to me...I have cried every day because I just can't believe this is happening...from one night to another...it affects you in every way and I can't help but feel depressed...I would like to know how I can deal with this? Any help is greatly appreciated...
@jakalii Goodness gracious! This is ridiculous... I already spoke to this guy about using my videos without my consent. How rude of him to repost his video with MY stolen content in it, especially after he said he's take it down.
Thanks again for the heads up. Not sure if there is much I can do about petty behaviour like this :(
@fitgirl15 Thank You so Much..Im glad I can get a perspective of someone who has been in the same situation.. watching your videos make me feel better and not so alone.
@sindyf1 YES! Facial Twitching is a DEFINITE sign of nerve activity!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :D Keep doing what you are doing, sounds like you are healing nicely!
@missgenius142 YES, I think a heating pad, or moist heat like a face cloth or steam, are a great idea! This also increases circulation, which is always a bonus and should aid in your healing!!!
I so agree with you about how stressful face exercises can be. I recovered quickly but i did struggle with my face muscles. I tried so hard that my face would hurt and it would cause discomfort. I've been following your videos ever since i got bell's palsy last year and i am glad you are getting better <3 I will never forget what it felt like and what bell's palsy made me appreciate :D
Thank you for all your videos. They are very informative and extremely helpful. I have had bells palsy for over 5 years now and still seem be slowly recovering. One area that has not recovered is my cheek. It appears to be sunken and has no strength at all. My question is, have you tried E-stim. I have read that it is not recommended but wondering if I have anything to lose now. Thanking you advance for your opinion.
@FitGirl15 Oh sorry about that I didn't mean to upset you:( I thought you had a BP DVD or something and u will be happy to see it reaching different countries. his comments is about facial exercise& examples but the background music is covering his voice i didn't got what he is saying.. anyway the good point is u become a celebrity cheer
@jakalii It's upsetting only because that person has NO RIGHT using my videos in the way they have! They did NOT request access to my videos, they STOLE them off the internet! SADLY.
I have had Bell's Palsy since June 10,2011. How did you deal with the depression from Bell's? It almost seems like it's never going to heal. With your name being FitGirl did you take any nerve healing vitamins? Such as Vitamin B6 or B12? I am trying to find ways to speed up healing. I miss being able to do the most simplest things like being able to whistle or just smile. Something tells me I'm in for a long recovery.
Hey you. I'd like to thank you GREATLY for taking the time, dedication and consideration into making this video on the people's and health community's behalf. This video to me, was very informative, motivational, insightful and educational. It is and it's going to be of great use to me. It's truely priceless. This video is a blessing in many terms. Thank You!
Omg!! Thanks For this video!! I feel like I'm at a standstill with my case.... I've stopped acupuncture for a while I'm actually seein more movement . It's been bout 3 months and I wish that could gain movement in my eye so I can at least look decent when in photographs! Ill post a recent video tomorrow and let me know your feedback! I appreciate all your videos!! You have helped me through this long progress!!
@Kdotdior Be patient!!! Take some time off trying to heal!!! My healing also felt like it stopped at times, but watch my videos over the past 1.5 years, I have been changing the whole time!! And I believe you are too!!!

@JLOVES21 I know what you are going through, I lived through it... for over a year!
I cried many nights too. I had to lean on my faith and Zumba during my time with Bell's Palsy... my family also gave me much love and support.
*****You just have to BELIEVE that you will recover!*****
Stay strong!!!
