@grettasgun With ya! I revisit this vid/ disc a couple of times a year for the goosebumps and huge smile it brings. What a night. And I got Birmingham the next weekend. Fuckin great times.
Yeah it's good, but there are 2 guitars. Jimi did all the work with one guitar so did SRV. Sorry I can't help compare to the original, I like this though
you know nothing. this isn't a redundant guitar cover. it was written by the greatest guitarist of all time and beautifully remade by the great srv. any version of this that is done respectfully is not tired, dude. this version is done nicely, but cannot compare to jimi or srv. plus, it doesn't need to be redone, since it was already perfected. take notes, son!
you're obviously a complete moron to think this is'nt the most over played guitar cover of all time. no need for the bullshit history lesson. who the hell are you to assume something has been already perfected? it's just a different interpretation that happens to be original in sound and unlike the other posers like yourself trying to cover it. you're obviously being a dick for the sake of simply being a dick. think before you spit out bullshit next time chief.

I'm curious, who is the long haired, white bearded guitar player? He is really good, and i just want to know who he is.
Utlrapilot123 4 years ago
Jimmy Herring is his name. He has played with Jazz is Dead, The Grateful Dead, Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Allman Bros, and now widespread panic
