I love this movie.. it's my favorite anime movie of all time. Unlike other anime movies, where I generally just have to jump to a fight scene to be entertained, this kept me gripped from start to end. They kept it at the right balance of old/ new.And that ending... oh man, if there was a category for "best anime video" at the grammies, this would take every award for that.The ending to the original anime was so different from the manga, it kinda displeased me. I'm glad they made brotherhood.

I personally love both the first anime series and the manga. However, I did not particularily like Brotherhood. One of the reasons being that the art of the original anime series was very well drawn and in some sections was just plain beautiful. In Brotherhood, the style is far more basic, and in my opinion, that takes out a great part of what made FMA a great anime series.
