  • Gore is so wooden....just like the trees he'd sooner replace with artificial CO2 capture masts that can double as cell phone towers!

  • global warming will barely affect scandinavia anything, but if the air gets too polluted, were all fucked.

  • Al Gore is a rightwing coward. He ordered the EPA to needlessly poison and murder millions of innocent animals in laboratories with the LD50 test and other horrors.

He and the Demopublican terrorist party illegally interfered with a true progressive's campaign, a true patriotic national hero: Ralph Nader. Gore was never serious about the environment and fighting global warming. PETA has done more since 1980 and deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

  • @mphello please don't have children

  • he does look like he could gore

  • Al Gore sucks and he's a huge liar!!! His movie sucks and is brain washing propoganda movie was full of mistakes misrepresentations and flat out lies,in fact it's so bad an english judge ruled to make him correct 9 big whopping lies and another 6 smaller fibs before any english school child was aloud to watch it.Pay Blood and Gore (that;s his company) carbon credits and he'll fix the planet for us yey mr gore youre such swell guy vomit!!!!

  • Al is so cool. Shame on you for not electing him!

  • @hackebeil20 we did elect him...

  • ....Gore's load of BS "Inconvenient" was obvious pop-enviro propoganda in Great Britains' opinion. They required a disclaimer to be inserted at the beginning before inflicting it on imressionable grade-schoolers over there.

Unfortunately, it became gospel to much of our population here, especially those who think @ a grade school level........

  • David Cohen rules!

  • @Klaus2551010 Actully it is not an episode but rather an extra from the movie Bender's Big score in which Al Gore guest stars. btw I'm not trying to be a know it all if it comes across that way.

  • how can you LIKE Al Gore?..

  • Comment removed

  • actually I think what happened with Al Gore and Bush was pretty weird.

I mean, Al won and at the last the minute they told him he didn't, WTF?

Anyway, i don't care bout the past. I care about Obama, wtf is his deal with all them mexicans and illegal immigrants in the borders; specially in Arizona, it's full of them.

No ofense to hard working mexicans who are legal and just send money to their famillies back in their country.

He's probably not gonna win the next elections if he keeps up like this

  • science minded people seem very closed to new ideas the process of thinking science actually is about never coming up with an idea of their own. They cannot leave a thread until they feel fully satisfied their logic won out. The same type of logic has helped scientists to produce horrible disease causing agents, all in the name of progress. Don't blame me they shout i only pressed the button that lit the ovens. We prosecuted Nazi scientists but most of them ended up in the USA

  • @ste6666666 I can't let you get away with that. You can go on about "science minded people" and invoke the Nazis, but you can't cover up the fact that you got pwned by AussiePolitics in a debate. I mean seriously. He absolutely wiped the floor with you.

  • The governments of the world are going to use up all the oil and gas in the ground until there is none left. The Green brigade have done nothing to slow this down in fact its pace is increasing. But then plenty of legislation about carbon dioxide being a poison, hang on a minute isn't that what we breathe out. What I'm the polluter of the world along with all the other animals even dolphins. Not by using all the plastic and other junk that we have no choice to use, but just by existing.

  • @ste6666666 carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. the greenhouse effect is an empirical fact and is a GOOD THING. it prevents heat leaving the earth so we have a stable temperature. the problem is when you dig up and burn for hundreds of years carbon reserves trapped underground. this INCREASES the amount of energy being trapped and it is reflected back to earth.

  • @AussiePolitics Thanks for that but i do know the theory. i was drawing a distinction between the co2 produced by burning fossil fuels and the fact that animals breathe out co2. Governments are helping us to use more fossil fuels whilst talking about population control. Think about it what are they actually saying. We want to burn fossil fuels and the poor people of the earth are going to pay for it by not existing and the wealthy through carbon taxes.

  • i have a degree in environmental science and to a lot of people this has become a replacement for religion, which they defend even when thousands of scientists are coming out in agreement that this global warming is a hoax. but of course the green religious zealots are not listening. James lovelock, typical eugenicist elitist. He said that he wanted to go to the moon. ok for some isn't it. I wonder how much co2 that would spew out, and at the same time wanted to reduce well, us.

  • @ste6666666 quite frankly I am not interested in what the nutjobs on both sides are coming out and saying, I am interested in the facts.

and the facts we KNOW are that carbon, methane and water are elements that create the greenhouse effect. if you studied environmental science you would know this is an empirical fact. so tell me, what do you think will happen when we massively increase the amount of these elements in the atmosphere? are you really saying it will have no effect?

  • @AussiePolitics Well only vote for a party that will actually reduce the amount of fossil fuels used ie by leaving them in the ground. You will not be able to because they will use all these fuels. I do not know it as an empirical fact i know it to be a theory based upon very dodgy science and skewed graphical representation of the data. If global warming was true wouldn't governments stop using the very fuels that are causing it and not blame the people. They want to cause fear.

  • @ste6666666 please tell me how you could have possibly studied an environmental science degree without doing a course on climatology.

yes, we do know that the other gases in the atmosphere such as nitrogen and oxygen do not trap heat, only carbon, methane and water. we have been able to measure the outgoing radiation of the planet since the 1970s with satelites and this has also empirically proven that there is less energy leaving the planet than ever before.

  • @AussiePolitics Stop using your car. I have never driven a car in my life I'm a true environmentalist. Don't buy products that are over packaged I don't. Don't believe lying governments and there agencies, that you recognise are locked into a cycle of economic growth at all costs. Even at the cost of our Earth. Why do you trust their scientists that are bought off for grant money. Plants use Co2 We will have a period of increased growth what with all that heat an all.

  • @ste6666666 again you make it all about ME when I am talking about the FACTS.

and no, deforestation by humans is also contributing to global warming because there are fewer trees than ever before to absorb greenhouse gases. this would have been obvious to even a first year science student. the ocean is also absorbing more carbon and heat than ever before and do you know why? because when water and carbon mix you get carbonic acid

  • @ste6666666 you say the scientists were bought off with grant money - what companies make billions of dollars each year? the oil and gas companies, who would get badly hurt by a carbon tax or change to renewable energy. if every single climatologist in the world is part of some evil taxation plot then the fossil fuel companies could quite easily have paid other experts to examine their methology and prove "BULLSHIT"

  • @ste6666666 have I mentioned a tax or a reduction in carbon emissions? no, I am discussing the facts. please tell me at what time I have ever claimed that I knew a solution or wanted to do anything about it?

"If global warming was true wouldn't governments stop using the very fuels that are causing it". no, because doing so would involve raising the cost which would mean they would get voted out of office. furthermore its a long term gradual expensive problem.

  • Yes but they have used more fossil fuels in this time frame they don't sound very worried. if you don't advocate doing anything about your theories why bother stating them. But then in the future you will be paying these taxes whether you agree with them or not. During which time governments and other elitists will be producing more of the gases that you propose are causing the problem. You in the meanwhile might be prosecuted for not recycling your rubbish that they make us use.

  • @ste6666666 because I am interested in the facts of the matter or do they not concern you at all?

and no, they are not my theories, they are empirical facts verified my thousands of scientists and immense amounts of data. please tell me, if climate change was such a hoax why have the giant fossil fuel emitting companies not been able to disprove it? they have the money and all they'd have to do is go through all the scientists methologies, and if there was a rat they'd find it and trumpet it.

  • @AussiePolitics But now there are thousands of scientists with the same level of education coming out on the opposite side of this. Why are you not listening to them aswell. Your views are biased fueled by fear from governments that can do nothing to change. They have to blame someone surely not themselves, well they blame me and you and all those poor people in other countries for simply breathing.

  • @ste6666666 really? please show me your thousands of scientists who are expert climatologists who say climate change is a lie. show me your proof for this claim. oh and don't show me a list that says 'scientists' because maths for instance is a science degree and they would know as much about atmospheric surgery as a labourer knows about rocket scientist.

  • @ste6666666 oh and actually in case you haven't read what I have been writing, I am interested in the FACTS. I dont care what they prove, but at the moment the mountain of evidence is clearly on the side of anthropogenic global warming.

if you can please direct me to a peer reviewed scientific journal written by a credible climatologist then I would be happy to say that climate change is bullshit.

  • @AussiePolitics The companies have not been hampered in any way they have their government in place why would they. they don't need to argue anything. look at the gulf to get this muck out of the ocean floor they have sacrificed a whole ocean ecosystem. They do not care for the environment they care about money and control. Why do you trust them so much. cars can run very efficiently on alcohol Oh we can make that ourselves and it gives off few emmisions. It's why its against the law.

  • @ste6666666 i never said I trusted the oil and gas companies - what I do trust is their desire to make MONEY. the fact of people acting on climate change would hamper their ability to make money would you not agree? so it would be in their best interests if it was a lie to show that its some big greenie religion so they dont have to worry about getting taxed extra

  • @AussiePolitics They fund the climate change brigade along with all the other elitists like Bill gates, why are people listening to this fool. and that rothschild spoilt billionaire adventurer, al gore the list goes on and on . They are spewing out these lies and pollution whilst advocating population control as the solution. The final solution more like it.and funding bad science to get control and legislation. You need to get your head out of the science books.

  • @ste6666666 when you come up with the PROOF that the oil and gas companies are run by some evil global group that is funding all the environmental research of the thousands of scientists in the world, actually bother replying. you obviously have no interest in facts, just your own delusions. I have hundreds of years, thousands of experts and all the empirical evidence on my side. you have nothing but bullshit conspiracy theories and NO EVIDENCE.

  • @AussiePolitics is it normal for oil companies to take over in a military type style pieces of the USA. It is now.

  • @ste6666666 show me your evidence that the oil companies are funding all the climate change research. show me your evidence that thousands of climate experts have been paid to lie. at the end of the day we have KNOWN for hundreds of years about the greenhouse effect. we KNOW that carbon is one of the gases that increases this effect. the evidence is all there but you are to ignorant to see it.

  • @AussiePolitics Yes plants love it

  • @ste6666666 first of all how is all the excess C02 supposed to be absorbed by plants when we have destroyed most of the forests on this planet? deforestation increases every day and you say that plants are just going to absorb MORE C02? you obviously have never studied a science degree or you would not exhibit such obvious ignorance.

  • @ste6666666 who doesn't sound very worried? most scientists are worried for the long term prospects of the human race.

during your studies did you ever hear of the tree progymnosperms during your studies? they exists millions of years ago and looked similar to todays pines.

the were probably the first large trees with a canopy of photosynthetic material and do you know why they believe they went extinct? because they grew in such numbers and created so much oxygen they changed the atmosphere

  • @AussiePolitics Thats another theory along with the dinosaurs extinction, all we have is theories. And theories are always incorrect, they are only true until the next theory comes around. far too many variables are concerned here. They are obviously part of the the natural process equivalent of pioneer plants on barren rock. But we are the ultimate climax species not pioneers. Even if global warming is not a hoax population control is not the answer it is simply disguised nazi beliefs.

  • @AussiePolitics They are still discussing the theory of gravity you know those physicists, Right aggressive little person I can't believe i have spent so much of my time on a little weasel like you that can't discuss things in a civil way. Now your not an environmentalist your an aggressive little troll now go away and grow up and learn some manners.

  • @AussiePolitics Explain the middle ages warm period. Explain why the data presented doesn't go back for thousands of years. We do have that data in the ice cores you know. Because we live on a big ball whizzing through space at thousands of miles an hour around a ball of varying atomic reacting hydrogen. and your expecting it to stay the same temp, get a grip. Explain what you have done about the damage you cause. but your not interested in this your not a true environmentalist.

  • @ste6666666 middle ages warm period was NOT as warm as today to start off with. if you watched that bullshit show the global warming swindle where they claimed it was warmed than today, they left the past 40 years of data off that graph. who the fuck says the 'present' when the data was from 1970?

  • @AussiePolitics But it was still warm now i wonder how that happened

  • @ste6666666 it was still warm now? what are you talking about? the scientific evidence shows that carbon is a greenhouse gas. we know that is a FACT. scientists have been able to measure that LESS energy is escaping into space directly along the wavelengths that carbon traps heat. I can send you the peer reviewed articles if you want.

your 'plants love it' statement is breathless in its ignorance. we have fewer forests than in hundreds of years and you think plants will absorb MORE???

  • @AussiePolitics Mars is heating up as are all the planets in our solar system

  • @ste6666666 actually the data DOES go back thousands of years. thats exactly what the ice cores are for.

of course the climate changes over time, no one has ever said otherwise, however it is the SPEED of the warming that is unprecedented and is alarming scientists. the earth's climate changes over thousands of years, but in the past 100 years we've seen an unprecedented raise in temperature.

  • @AussiePolitics But what about Mars

  • if bush never was elected... the states would've became a haven

  • It blows my mind that Al Gore is down to earth enough to do something like this.

  • UN wrongly linked global warming to natural disasters

    From The Sunday Times

    January 24, 2010

THE United Nations climate science panel faces new controversy for wrongly linking global warming to an increase in the number and severity of natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods.

It based the claims on an unpublished report that had not been subjected to routine scientific scrutiny — and ignored warnings from scientific advisers that the evidence supporting the link too weak..

NCAR: Scientists can't measure all heat trapped on Earth

Half of the energy captured by greenhouse gases isn't accounted for

About half of the total amount of heat entering the atmosphere is unaccounted for, according a study in Science that suggests the oceans are absorbing energy that will haunt us sooner or later.

  • Heat isn't "trapped" in the Ocean or the Atmosphere it is "spent" powering the Walker Circulation that moves heat around the world via the Ocean Currents (Heat to kenetic energy as heated water from ocean floorand from tropics mixes with cold water from poles) and as the heat rises of the ocean and earth surface heated air and cold air mix powering wind, hurricanes, tornadoes and as humid heated air rises and cools it makes cloulds

This "Soted Heat" by GHGs is 18th centurey bullshit

  • Al Gore is so sick he is way cooler than George Bush, George bush is the biggest loser ever! I hate George Bush!!

  • HEY GOBAMA

  • FUCKING ASSHOLES

  • I laugh when people make fun of politicians who do the right thing.

I have nothing against Al Gore, and all for what he does.

Global warming may not affect us in our life time, but the future generations will be affected tremendously, because greenhouse gases will grow in the future.

Also, this is the only planet then we can reach and survive on as human beings, we should take good care of the good fortune of having this planet, not ignore the problem.

    Oh man, some people, lol.

  • @Boss5414 And you do believe every word Al Gore said? Is Al Gore a physicist? No Al Gore is not a physicist. Global warming is not caused by humans. The earth is warming up and cooling down naturally, with a respective increase of CO2 and decrease of CO2. This increase of CO2 (so called greenhousegasses) is a result of increased temperatures not a CAUSE of global warming.

People, do your own research instead of copying some popular hype. I'm not attacking you, open your eyes!

  • @Boss5414 you have given me new hope for humanity. thank you

  • @sleepyhead7391

I'm suprised I'm still getting comments from MY comment, lol. Thank you for acknowledging and agreeing with my comment, you have given me new hope for humanity. Thank YOU!

  • What a bunch of crap...

  • Another compassionate liberal, I see...

  • Everyone who refused to vote for Ralph Nader in 2000 and 2004 when they had the chance (so I am excluding prisoners and children who are denied the vote) deserves to be punished by torture and punishment for the crimes to humanity and the animals in this world that they have caused by their perversion.

Nader deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

  • That seems a bit extreme.

  • How about this: Drill like crazy for oil and build cookycutter refinaries and nuclear powerstations. This will drop the price of gas down to nothing yielding trillions of dollars to develope altrnate energy sources Total win win situation except for folks like Gore who want to elite and rich with the rest of us going down the chute

  • Al Gore proposed leaving the lights on in the basketball courts till midnight so that the kids will stay out of trouble and come to school the following day refreshed. What logic! This moron can' spell science. But he is smart enough to push global warmimg to make 100s of millions of dollars at the expense of his country.

  • All Gore wanna be God =/

  • I love how Al has a good enough sense of humor to make jokes about himself on Futurama.

  • which futuram episode is playing in the background?

  • It's a special.

  • I Really Like Al Gore He's A Down to Earth Guy and Is Trying To Help Us, Shame we didnt get him as president :/

  • coz its all rigged that why xD

  • @IceBlu4 oh ya and he isnt even trying to profit off of it either...lol

  • I don't know, I hate Bush but I wouldn't vote for Al gore either. Reason why is that he chose Joe Lieberman as vice-president and he didn't looked like he could be trusted. I'm not saying bush is better(definitely not), I'm just think both of them aren't good choices. But John Kerry was definitely better than Bush

  • We could have had Al Gore for the past eight years instead of Bush. Oh boy.............

  • @OrmEmber

Al Gore would have made us ride our bikes to work everyday. Bush was just the lesser of the two evils.

  • I love this...hilarious!

  • i like al gore he is better then bush

  • well i like clinton lol

  • @ShadowLuigi333 why because he made up global warming? Recently it has been PROVEN that the earth was acting normally, that there is no global warming...

  • No because Bush was the worst president ever lol

  • @ShadowLuigi333 Everyone´s better than Bush!

  • @ShadowLuigi333 I think all sane people do.
