absolutely wonderful. compared with his other solos, cannonball uses relatively simple lines to get through the changes. maybe it´s that melodic and rhythmic simplicity that makes me listen to that one again and again.

I fell in love with this tune when I was fourteen years old. I'm in my ....well, I'm a young senior and have always loved this music form. Ain't it cool?  Swing it man, swing it. Mr. Adderley died far too young. I appreciate you posting something that reminds me of how I wanted good life to be, even then......

@1986donnie I thought I was the only one that felt like crying over something so cool, melodic and classy....all good adjectives. That ending is so great and Nat's part is awesome. my favourite version is from cannonball again but from a live recording in pleyel in 1960 on the olympia cd from 1961
