What this guy did was very wrong but in my opinion capital punishment doesn't achieve anything, its paradoxical to kill a killer and not have yourself killed, but furthermore the money & time spent on this punishment could be spent on preventing other crimes from occurring in the first place, revenge is a selfish attitude when you want to satisfy your emotion for revenge when you haven't suffered at the expense of other preventable crimes occuring. This guy deserves life in jail nevertheless.

As a mother it boggles my mind that the courts would sentence a father to death but give a "slap on the hand" to Andrea Yates, who drowned (which takes considerably more effort" her children one by one! Our system lets people off too easily, a lot of people get 15 for murder!

Ok,given the inordinate amount of time it takes for executions to be carried out in the States,that should give him time for this sub-human to contemplate what he's done.And,if US legislation didn't allow for criminals to write their stories the judge wouldn't have to make provision for him to pay restitution! This is like that really sad story of that woman in canada that didn't want her husband to get custody of their children, so she drowned all four of them. Held them under water in the bath tub and told them to blow bubbles. People who kill their children...I don't get it.
