Well... it will be an idiotic guess... but, can it be that Zelda SS part the timeline in two like did OoT?

One with the anger of Demise and other without it, because it was destroyed in "the future" timeline, but revived in the "past timeline"...

@Pyrodrago2 This is explained better elsewhere but the events of the past had already taken place in the present, which is how Demise was sealed in the first place. He was only truly physically destroyed when Link wished upon the Triforce.

I love Nyrue. :) she seems like a very kind goddess. They talk about her in fact all 3 in Oot. BUt are they going to fil us in on some secrete information in SS? I hope so, I want to learn more about these three goddesse who made the triforce.

@777Rowen It's Very strange. In Skyward Sword they are only referred to as the "old gods" and are never mentioned by name except when it is necessary for the plot to do so. The Triforce in Skyward Sword is a forgotten relic that had left the memory of man long ago.

This is in Stark contrast to everyone knowing what the Triforce is later down the timeline and it is worshiped as a symbol. The power it was said to bestow was probably the reason the Old Gods became so prominent again.

@HighPriestFuneral The people did'nt know its power truly existed. They thought it was just a legend. However, in events between Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time, there was a civil war in hyrule that pitted the main races against each other. Of course, the ones responsibles for it were banned and became the Twilis. Speaking of which, the banned dark people (before they became twili) reminds me of the dark Links that appeared here and there in the series.

@777Rowen In the games, Oracle of seasons and ages you meet Din, and Nayru. Ages having Nayru and seaons having Din. Nayru is very kind indeed and is found at the start of Ages singing a song to all the forest animals. Din on the other hand is slightly aggressive as expected and she is a dancer.

I figured Nyrue was a kind goddess, considering the ability in Oot, was called Nyrue's Love and its magic protected u from harm. ^^. Ya know what would be cool?
