@takumaisakuma1 lulz, narcissists generally have limited empathy and social emotions due to extreme intergroup bias, and a rather unhealthy way of looking at the world. Narcissists view everything as either an extension of themselves, or with complete indifference, or if it annoys them or doesn't do what they want eventually with malice and disgust.
Well adapted narcissists are a rarity and high function SAN's are even rarer, I think Sam may also be a sociopath.
Dear sam Vaknin has OCD, too. Look at his neorokynesthics. His shaking hands or his repeating of himself or correcting of spoken words. Some sort of neurasthenia, I think.
@Calucifer13 Yeah, Sam's impressive in how well adapted he is despite having all the symptoms, I suspect he predates on other narcissists, I was gonna troll him but he swiftly blocked me. Shoulda just had a conversation with him, he'd be interesting to talk to.
@Laughingblades You should have had THE conversation with him, or I..? I was said by my ex-shrink that I am so hyper-reasonable that I would be able to beat to death other person just with my proofs.
I am a girl, a self aware narcissist with sociopathic traits. And yes, I am in some perverse way proud of being one. Do you wanna know some famous narscisist with lack of empathy and ense of grandiosity? Look at Tom Cruise XD (TC: "The shrinks dunno the roots of psychiatry, I do.") WTF..? :-)))
@Calucifer13 I troll'd Sam Vaknin a bit but SAN's fascinate me, and lol yeah Tom Cruise is a good example. Newt Gingrich is another, though he's less comical.
However, as players feel in control and have all their fantasies fulfilled in the simulated, simplified world of "The Sims," there is a danger that they could lose touch with the real world, Suler said. "People may get involved pathologically and spend too much time in this imaginary world. They retract from the real world and could be isolated socially."
The Sims" can be very addictive. Some players spend countless hours building a dream home for their Sims, getting them on the right career track and directing their social lives so they get hitched and procreate. Playing God is a full-time job.
I have a interesting connection to make....If we can just feed the existing Narcissists a replacement.... food/ Narcissistic supply....alternate to human flesh can we curb the social destruction at all?
To all Narcissist that haven't turned into a hermit.....give this a try! It's a "game" called The Sims
i'm a narcissist and have been trying for the longest time to change, but i'm just saying fuck it and commit suicide

Speaking of grandiosity, that animation of pipes & pressure dials bursting into flames is just way too funny!

@EyeLean5280 But otherwise, this is really excellent. The out-takes are so revealing! I'm so glad the filmmakers saw their value and included them!

This guy is hilarious! I love his quotes, 'you're challenging me by your mere existence!' That's a classic! XD

The Sims is a great game but I can see Narcissists enjoying it for very different reasons.
