  • @DeidraBeee Same thing with me except I work at Chili's...lol. :)

  • @DeidraBeee ME TOO!!!!!!

  • @DeidraBeee

I work at Kohls too and that's where I fell in love with this song. Wish they would play more like it - would make our day a lot more easier to bear!

  • @DeidraBeee omg same here i work at kohls toooo. and i hear this song and all i can do is siiing this =]!

  • i heard this song on Bones recently (netflix bebe!) and this was the first song from the show that made me investigate.

  • A nice song, but it'd be a lot weaker without the Candi Staton sampling.

  • Amazing song!

  • The one that goes "He called me baby" sounds like David Choi lol

  • woaahh now that is soul! they are bringing soul back!

    i <3 soul machines

  • just bought the cd tremendos

  • I think the song is good. original lyrics mixed with a song written over 50 years ago makes a great story. I think the title "Kandi" is a reference to the singer that is sampled. Her name is Candi Staton.

  • i dont think enough people have heard them :( if it wasn't for the radio station i listen to at work, then i probably havent had heard this awesome song!

  • WCLZ radio brought me here :) Heard this driving home from work last year & still love listening to it.

  • thunbs up if y0u found this on bones

  • Ok so I hear this song everyday at work. I work at JCPenney and this is my jam to get me through my day. I get excited when it comes on, it's a damn good song and it sounds better when they sing it anyway.

  • where does the title 'kandi' come from?

  • @MysPhi16 ...from the one of the various versions of this song. It's a defacto classic that evolved with generations (keep your comments, i'm just stating the irrefutable fact that it's still here after 50years)...It's a reference to a version from the 70s by a band called Candi Station...the original was from 1961, Patsi Klein made it popular.

  • sweet baby jesus, coldplay have a lot to answer for...

  • Whew.. what a song~ love it..

    perfect just perfect!

  • I just can't get this song out of my head. Patsy Kline, Tennessee Ernie Ford...etc have done this song, but none move me like this version.

  • Amazing

  • how does this song not have more than a million viewers?! It's amazing!

  • @19lovesmusic b/c it's a terrible song

  • kristian leontiou was better as a solo artist.

  • awful

  • @tulllguy ur mom was awful...in bed! sorry, I just had to do it...but yeah, you suck monkey balls, go die in a ditch, ect.

  • "I got Two Turntables and a Microphone"

  • (And REM's storyboard notebook)

  • I can listen to this song over and over and over....it's that good! My favorite part is ...Does my love ever touch you does my love ever reach you? It's never enough, why is it never enough?

  • Best song everrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I have to say. Thank you and goodnight.

  • @MacPiaras you have bad taste

  • @tulllguy maybe they were typing awful-ly good and hit enter too soon..........

  • I'm 44 and my 32 yr old husband just passed away - we loved this song not b/c of infidelity but b/c it's a great song. The male vocal so,so needing to know what went down, the female vocal admitting what went down. My baby is gone forevever, never to be called baby, baby, baby again. Never felt so much pain.

  • I had my heart broken 25 years ago. This song takes me right back to that very moment. She left and married in a very short time.

  • @cc77005 You've got better built character. She left in fear of it and her shallow ego didn't have the ba... to tell you. You have no worries my friend. And if you still carry it, you're at fault.

  • It's a stupid thing to pull these videos. After listening to the song here on YouTube I immediately went to Amazon to purchase a copy. The quality of audio is exceptionally better on the .mp3 that I PURCHASED. I probably would not have heard this song on radio because I don't listen to radio.

  • they played here at the brewing company and i didnt get to see it! >.<

  • All smiles from this one :o)

  • this version is the most simple , and best sounding. I didn't know it went back so far as a song, I thought it was a new song . WOW.

  • AMAZINGNESS!!!! great sample job, good music, and the lead singer's voice is unique and amazing!!!

  • Is adele singing the womans part?

  • @Jennamber15 sounds like it but it's a sample of Candi Staton from 1971 (he called me baby)

  • WOW!!!

  • Such a beautiful song.

I can feel the pain- heartbreak pain :(

  • BRILLIANT sampling of a 1971 Candi Staton remake of a Patsy Cline song.. (got all that??)

  • this is so beautiful..wonderful lyrics...amazing voices. I could hear it over and over..filled with deep heart and soul.....love it!!!

  • This song really does something to me. It makes me cry and both breaks my heart and makes me want to dance. The band has some great energy, really nice people and consummate musicians. I can't stop listening, and they're EASY ON THE EYES, for sure. The singer reminds me of Dave Gahan.

  • we heard this song in kohls about a week ago, and we just found out who sang it.

  • @4654girl .....that is where i first herd it also!! very much in love with it!

  • @4654girl i heard it first at kohl's too, been in love with it ever since!

  • Heard this song for the first time in Kohl's (a department store) today. Love it!

  • The singer, he has one album when he was solo, that album is truly amazing, those of you who know Kristian leontiou' music and or the whole album know what i mean, and this band is truly amazing

  • THE BEST!

  • So orgasmic.

  • BONES brought me here.

  • @ruthimiel and me, too!

  • @chillphil27 I think it is Candi Staton, it's a sample.

  • Who is the woman featured in the song? I know its taken from Candi Staton song, but she is not singing the vocals here. anyone know who is?

  • Wish that Candi Station was in this song too, singing live. But it is realy good anyway.....but who is Joe?

  • I can't believe there aren't more comments on how absolutely HOT Christian is! Also, Christian is my favorite name for a man.

This is currently my favorite song of all songs. I love how they transpose the vocals from the old Kandi Stanton song from the 70's (?)

  • @callahanco

Oh yes, he is!! And I love his voice. It's sad there are no more songs from his earlier times allowed on youtube.

But he is written with a K. Kristian. :)

  • DAMN! Ok so I remember hearing this song on the radio in my car months ago and the RDS(radio data system) in my car said the song was by One Eskimo, I wrote it down and forgot about it. I just found that paper again. came in the house and put my headphones on to listen to it again... DAMN!!! He sung his ass on on this!!

  • Wow..! beautiful..!!! fantastic Song, fantastic vocals... just knockout ..!!!!,

  • Okay...I'm in love with this song!!

  • opening is reminiscent of 'dreams' by the everly brothers. its one of those tracks you like and can't get to the bottom of why.

  • Patsy Cline or not, the line "He called me baby, baby, all night long", and I'm thinking the reason behind the name for the song, is because it's from a Candy Stanton song. That's the opening line to the song.

  • i love this song...heard it playing @ kohls

  • This song is AMAZING!!!

  • yuppp, found my new favorite songgg!♥

  • Heard this first on Bones last year, brilliant song, looked them up and bought the album, its bloody brilliant, every song is great, listen to "The Chosen One, its my favourite!

  • Need a women here you go ** rockmycity.info **

  • this song was originaly done by the late Pasty Cline. Under a different title and never released due to her sudden death. Kudos for her song and One EskimO for covering it this very well. mazing is another fave of mine as well.

  • @vicfrommich This song is NOT a cover of the Patsy Cline song - it merely shares the line "He called me Baby all night long." The rest of the lyrics/music are TOTALLY different. Cline's song is about a woman who misses her man. This song is about a woman who cheats on her man.

  • this song was originaly done by the late Pasty Cline. Under a different title and never released due to her sudden death. Kudos for her song and One EskimO for covering it thi well.

  • Saw them on Ellen today, instantly hooked.
