I have this album only on C-cassette, there is something about those old (and new) C-cassettes with pro-covers. The sound is unique, especially when you listen them on "ghettoblaster" from the 80's, or on the about 15 years old Sony Walkman which I bought when I was teenager, 14 or 15.

What i consider black metal is stuff like Ildjarn, Judas Iscariot, old DarkThrone or on the atmospheric symphonic side stuff like old Emperor, Graveland or Nagelfar. Samael just sounds like doomed out Death metal that's really slow or at least this song does.

This in my opinion is Samael's last good album, although in their newer albums the lyrics are the best they ever wrote...but I don't like the music at all, well they have a lot of good influences and intelligence in their new stuff (or anything from '96 onwards that can be considered "new") but they have too many industrial and "Rammstein" influences.
