It's modeled somewhat after a Kassoy replica which was used along with cutting instructions in the Great Diamond Series that appeared in the Lapidary Journal some years ago. Mine is cut in clear YAG whereas most replicas - most which have different versions of the Orloff - are cut in quartz. The slot was performed with a diamond band saw.

I think that's the same replica from my Kassoy kit. Mine even has the groove in the underside.
There are a couple skips in the latter third of the video.
