Heads up: if you dont clear the deathknights, they can attack you through the fog gate and knock you down to your death

there's an even shorter shortcut. Where you first meet 2 ghosts, instead of going upstairs, go right, drop down on the ledge, then drop down again and you'll reach the first DarkWraith you see in this clip. No health lost and shorter

If you try to take it off right after landing you will just degenerate into the abyss.

There is a better shortcut that won't deplete your health. after you pass those two ghosts, head behind the stairs toward the giant urn, there you will find a ledge that you can drop onto, then drop to the ground. This isn't such a high drop than your method, and you will be at the same spot as where you landed
